2022 The Year I Will Dwell Among You Get Ready For My Kabod Glory. – A Word by Sharell Barrera

While in prayer for this year I was taken into a vision where I could see Jesus stomping on wells. I said, “Lord what are you doing?” He replied, “I am removing the impurities and the stagnation from the Body so refreshing can come. We must remember when water is dispersed it goes through a purification process it must be refined, it must be made new.”
I heard the Lord say, “The purifying you have endured this last year will be a landing place for my glory. Get ready body of Christ! It’s a heavy weighty glory getting ready to pour upon the nations at the feet and the crowns of Gods weary warriors. This is what you have been waiting for. My true glory, My “Kabod Glory.” The discouragement you faced last year will give birth to new dreams this year.”
Kabod means- the ‘glory of the Lord’ or ‘praise be to the Lord’ It has also been described as something heavy, both physically and figuratively. Taking for example, Exod 17:12 (Moses’ hands were heavy). So in reality, this word means something that is weighty or heavy and that which glorifies the Lord. In Psalm 3:3 the Kabod of God is used to refer to his shield and in Job 29:20 Job’s Kabod is paralleled with his bow. The original meaning of kabod is battle armaments. This meaning of “armament” is connected to the literal meaning of the root word of kavod which is “heavy” as armaments are heavy.
Moses got to encounter this Kabod Glory, the true Glory. It was so heavy that he could hardly move. His face shone before everyone as a bright light, and people knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he had been with the Lord. I heard the Lord say many times, that in order for the Body to experience this heavy weighty glory, the Kabod Glory in this season, it will come from a place of rest. Laying down the striving. The purifying has been a process of hearts being made pure to be able to hold and carry what’s coming.
I have been in a season of deep rest with the Lord as I have been reflecting on this year. My heart is filled with anticipation and joy for what is coming, because even though I know many have experienced much sadness, hardships, and crushing, the Lord was and is still at work for our good. I believe that through the word of the Lord many of you who were crushed and holding onto threads in this last year will get to experience the weight of Gods presence and Glory this Year like you have never seen or felt it.
I believe that you will encounter his love, his grace, his comfort, his heart, his fire, and his healing; but most of all it’s a season of knowing him. There is a call to go back to our first love. He is calling you to go deeper. The chains of discouragement are breaking off of you. As I began researching, the Kabod also described as “Kavod” I discovered that this kind of Glory will cause man to look at himself to examine his own heart. When Isaiah experienced the glory, he said that his righteousness was as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6- “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.”
This is truly a time to allow the father to purify our hearts, to look within to examine our own walk and allow the Lord to remove anything not of him. This is a good thing. We are to go from glory to glory with him for in this it gives the father room to work and to set things right for you in this year making it your comeback year. The Lord began to show me how many have been in such a struggle of even wanting to do ministry anymore. I heard the father say, “this is your comeback year, this is your year to come up higher, this is your year of commissioning, and the year that I clear your name to all who believed lies about you.
I am believing that in this year we will see the greatest outbreaks of the glory that we have ever seen. It’s truly an amazing time to be alive! Remember the greatest revivals happened during the greatest times of oppression. The Lord wanted me to tell you to begin declaring your payback. Begin declaring your comeback, and begin declaring your turnaround. Deuteronomy 4:44-47- They took possession of the land After they came out of Egypt. It’s a time to take possession of what belongs to you. Claim your inheritance as a child of the most high God. It is God who is bringing us out of oppression to take possession. The numbers 2022 mean hill or mountain. I believe that as you seek God on the mountain in your secret place, you will begin to experience the Kabod Glory of his presence. Moses went to the mountain Moses went to the hills.
The father began to tell me that we have only seen glimpses of his glory. And when we begin to truly experience his Kabod Glory, that promotion will come. This kind of glory causes your enemies to repent to you, and it causes mountains to move for you. A secret to experience this Kabod Glory is this; mediate on his glory and his splendor, Psalms 93- In the Glory there will be redemption, the redeeming power of God. We will see people come back together, people unite, people forgive, and people apologize for past misunderstandings. The father wants us to realize that we do not have to agree to love one another.
I declare to you that 2022 is your year. This is your time. This is your comeback season. This is your time of promotion, promise and provision. I declare to you, 2 Timothy 2- that God is giving you grace to overcome every kind or form of evil in Jesus name. May his joy and Kabod Glory overwhelm you and bring you to a place of being at rest with him in this new year.
