Beloved, have you been struggling with impatience lately? If so, the Lord wants to encourage you today!

Here’s what I heard the Father say to us all today:

“My precious child, you need to know that you are My precious treasure.

I love you with an everlasting love, and with great mercies I have formed you and sustained you all the days of your life. I have borne you up in My bosom, sheltered and protected you, and cared for you even when you did not know I was there.

So it is from that position of love, My child, that I must tell you I want you to work on being patient.

Time is your friend in many ways. You want everything immediately, but I do not always work like that. I often DO work in the “immediately,” but sometimes I take My time and work more slowly. It’s all about what I know is best for you at that time.

My beloved child, I am always with you. I have not lost or misplaced you. You are written on the palm of My hand! You are engraved into My very being. I could never lose yu or misplace you; I could never separate you from Myself, for you are My child and no one can take you out of My hand, literally!

But My beloved, when I do not move as fast as you want Me to, I need you to trust Me anyway.

Sometimes things are hard, but you misunderstand the value of time. You do not always see what I am going to do or how I am going to do it over time. And so sometimes you accept the small when I want to do the big over time.

Oh My sweet, precious child, I see the purity of your heart.

I see how you love Me and how you struggle to please Me. I love that you value Me so much.

BUT, I need you to know that you do please Me ALREADY. And although I appreciate your struggle to please, I want you to rest more and trust Me and My plans for you.

You will still need to work, but I am teaching you how to work within the boundaries of rest.

When you stay within My boundaries of rest–for I am a God who gives rest–you can be much more productive and fruitful. You strive and work every day, but I want you to rest in Me every day.

You are doing so good, beloved. It is only because I love you so very much that I am telling you these things.

You already please Me, My child.

I know you feel like I have forsaken you because I do not move as fast as you want Me to sometimes. However, nothing could be farther from the truth. I work slowly most of the time, but I am right with you the whole time.

I want you to challenge Me with this prayer: “Abba, I am going to rest today. Please show me what You can do when I rest.”

If you will look back, you will remember what I have done for you when you rest. As I said in Isaiah 30:15, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”

Return to resting with Me, My beloved one. Return to trusting Me. Do not overwork to be rich; because of the understanding I have given you, cease (Proverbs 23:4).

You have some more important things to take care of right now.

I have given you assignments that do not involve continuous work and striving. I have given you assignments for which you will need to carve out time, and you know what they are. There are things I have asked you to do that will feel like a huge sacrifice, but in actuality they will buy years for your life.

Oh my beloved, do not overwork. I need you to rest in Me and find your patience within Me, for I am a very patient God. I am Lord of the ages; do you not think it has required patience for Me to see My plans unfold over the millennia?

I am with you, My child, to keep you.

I am right here with you, and you can remind Me of My word whenever you need comfort and assurance. Come unto Me, for you labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Trust Me and lean on Me. Do not lean on your own understanding; but in all your ways acknowledge Me, and I shall direct your paths.

I love you, My child. Never forget it.
