As I was worshiping the Lord, words of praise and adoration were flowing out of me so easily that I knew it was all from the Holy Spirit, and suddenly a sound popped out of me, like the essence of the smack of a kiss, and a quickening came over me and I said, “was that a kiss?”. It was a beautiful encounter!
As we draw close to the Lord, He will bring you times of refreshing as you lay your life down before Him. These quiet times are well worth the effort to have. Once you have had one encounter you are not satisfied but to have many more continuous as a way of life. Intimacy with the Lord Jesus is to be a way of life.
It isn’t how much time you spend with Him, but it is how you spend this time with Him. We aren’t to just try to gain head knowledge of His word and leaving Him out but to have times of devotion with His word where we enable Him to reveal Himself to us.
Yes, this is the day He has made. Let us rejoice and be glad. He is so worthy to be praised no matter what we face in the natural. If we have a home away from the hustle and the bustle of daily life, we can come apart and be with Him. Yes, if we have a place we can call our secret place, we can be with Him.
