A Momentous March!

A Word by Madeline James

As I was getting ready for church on the morning of 3/1/20 I happened to glance at the calendar. While looking at the calendar I began to ask the Lord about the month of March and what it would look like. I heard Him say, “Momentum March.” I got excited when I heard that because, personally and I know for many it seems like things have been at a standstill and the onslaught of the enemy has been relentless. The Lord has had many of you in a holding pattern, but things are getting ready to pick up in March. Position yourself and get ready. Momentum can be defined as the force or speed of movement an object or person has (dictionary.com). I saw in the Spirit where there has been great winds of resistance against the people of God to delay, God was going to shift the winds to where they will be at your back. This shift will cause the momentum to be in your favor causing you to propel and breakthrough. I even saw in the realm of the Spirit a clash of winds between the winds of God and the winds of opposition. This clashing of winds has been producing the turbulence many of you have been feeling. To get above the spiritual turbulence come up higher. Set your mind on heavenly realities and the things that are above (Philippians 4:8) I even see this playing out in the natural in weather. The Lord reminded me the month of March tends to be more turbulent weather wise. The changing of seasons and weather systems from winter to spring, from cold to warm makes the atmosphere unstable. We’re going to see an unusually stormy March with record winds, and tornados. This is a depiction in the natural of what is taking place in the realm of the Spirit. Winds of change and transformation are blowing. The old is leaving and the new is coming.

I heard the Lord say, “The momentum is leading to momentous moments in March and beyond.” Momentous is defined as important, significant, and of great importance that affects the future (dictionary.com).

A verse to hold on to in this season is Micah 2:13 AMP, “ “The breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them]. They will break out, pass through the gate and go out; So their King goes on before them,The Lord at their head.” Breakthrough isn’t going to come all at once, but it will at different times during the year. Be encouraged, the Spirit of Breakthrough, God Himself, is going before you making what’s crooked straight, and leveling out the mountains in your life that have stood in the way of promise. Another scripture that has really stuck out to me in this season is Galatians 5:25, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” As believers we have to live by the Spirit, not by the flesh or by man. The word by in the Greek in this passage means attached to or connected to. The word step in the verse in the Greek means to be in military formation and to march as a solider. I want to encourage not to allow the opposition or what’s going on in the world to get you out of sync and out of formation with the Spirit of God. When we stay in step with the His Spirit, we won’t miss our breakthroughs and victories. Stay connected and in step with the Spirit of God.

Another key for this season is to hold on to your peace. Don’t give your peace away. In John 14:1 Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled,” In the passion translation it says, “Don’t worry or surrender to your fear.” We must guard our hearts and minds against fear and anxiety. We have a choice whether to bow to fear or not. The Greek word for troubled means to agitate, trouble a thing, inward commotion, take away calmness of mind, stir up, make restless. When we allow our hearts and minds to be troubled we become agitated and double minded, which opens the door to the enemy. In John 14:27 TPT Jesus says, “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”

The peace Jesus give us does not come from the natural realm. It comes from another realm, a heavenly realm. Because it comes from a heavenly realm it carries the authority of Heaven. Peace is a weapon of warfare. When peace governs you on the inside it will govern the atmosphere around you, and set it in order.

Get ready for a momentous March full of momentum!!
