There has been a shift in both the spiritual and natural realm, as we have entered into this new year and new season. Many have been hard-pressed on every side, feeling as though they’ve barely survived 2019. Even so, take heart! You have prevailed, and the Lord is now rewarding the faithfulness and endurance you’ve demonstrated in your previous season.
I believe the Lord is saying, “Well done, My good and faithful servant! A season of reward is upon you. You will now experience My rest, refreshing, and restoration. I am not only going to restore in one area of your life, but in all areas where the enemy had sought to steal, kill, and destroy. I am the God who is able to redeem the time and the years, and I will restore that which the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25). You will know unspeakable joy and full glory; you will feel a new spring in your step and a new song on your lips!”
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord
and put their trust in Him (Psalm 40:3).
“Rejoice! Again, I say, rejoice! Not only did you survive, but you will now know what it means to truly thrive. For I am the God who gives you life and life more abundantly (John 10:10).”
