A Time For Change – A word by Laurie Beckham

A word from the Lord

As He has planted you in rich soil, your roots will grow deeper. You and everything around you will flourish in this great Time of Change. Father God is shifting you, positioning you, and realigning you. It is time to go deeper, go further, and breakthrough into the new you!

In a time of corporate worship with our church family this past week, I felt the Holy Spirit come on me and begin to speak. I heard the words, “A TIME OF CHANGE.” The Lord brought me to the scriptures in Ecclesiastes 3, which had been on my heart for weeks. It is titled “Everything Has Its Time.” A popular verse in this chapter is verse 2, which says, “A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted.” (Ecclesiastes 3:2 NKJV)

The Lord then brought me into a vision where I saw the hands of God working at a large table. It had a bright white tablecloth and many potted plants on it. The first plant I saw was being uprooted from one particular pot of soil to another pot with new soil. Holy Spirit shared that “the soil is the foundation for healthy roots and plants. The soil is what contains the nutrients and moisture needed for the optimum health and growth of the plant.”

I then saw Him moving on to some plant cuttings that had been soaking in water for quite some time and had newly grown roots developing. I saw Him place the cuttings into a pot with the same new nutrient-dense soil. He then packed the soil and topped it off with some fresh water.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5 NKJV

The last plant I saw had grown to its maximum capacity in its pot. I could visibly see the roots coming out the bottom drainage holes. God’s hands gently pulled the plant with its massive roots up and then shook off the excess soil and transplanted it into the larger and more beautiful pot. There was lots of room and space in this new pot for the roots to spread out, allowing the plant to grow and flourish.

I then heard God say that “HE IS TRANSPLANTING MANY AT THIS TIME.” The definition of transplant is “to lift and reset (a plant) in another soil or situation; to remove from one place or context and settle or introduce elsewhere; relocate. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary).

We are in a time where great change is necessary to continue to grow and mature in our walk with Christ. Just like the pruning process is essential to remove dead, diseased, and excessive branches, are to keep a tree healthy and growing. In this vision, the soil, water, and sunlight represent Christ. He provides us with nourishment, nurturing, and support. He gives us a safe place to grow and extend our roots. He gives us living water so we will never thirst. He provides us the sunlight we need in the natural and supernatural. I was always enamored that the word “sun” is capitalized in Malachi 4:2, saying, “But to you who fear My name. The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.”

God’s timing is always perfect. I feel strongly that He has had many in His body in a time of process. Many were in transition for an extended period of time. Many were waiting for long periods of time for God to break them through and for their marching orders and next assignments. I am here today to confirm and prophesy that this is your TIME of CROSSING OVER the threshold of the old season and into the NEW. You are entering the NEW LAND, the NEW PLACES, the NEW SPACES, and the NEW DOORS OF OPPORTUNITY you have been restlessly waiting for. I see all that was held up being released as soon as God tendered the garden of His people’s hearts and lives. You have broken through the battle of the waiting game and made it to the other side.
