A Woman Named Wisdom – A Word by Jennifer Butler

A woman was crying today, she was so upset and her tears were collected by the hands of God Himself. He collected them and He was  saving them for all the seeds she has sown over the years. The tears would be used to water the seeds. The seeds of prayer for others. The seeds of selfless service. The seeds of cleaning and cooking. The seeds of rearing her children. The seeds of sewing tattered clothes together to get through another season. The seeds of laughing when she just wanted to break down. A woman was crying today, as she saw the hair on her head, though counted by God for only He knows the number, that was once a vibrant color had all turned gray.I could hear music playing around her as she looked at her hands. She rubbed them together and noticed the fine lines had grown a little deeper over past year and then she raised them anyway. She waved them in the wind and took her hair down. It was as if she was asking and thanking God all at the same time. She smiled and laughed and brushed her cheek with her hand. The tears had been removed and she praised so beautifully as she knew that the years of praying and serving God were all for this moment. This moment called Now. She danced and swayed and it looked as though she was dancing with Jesus himself. Her smile was so bright and her eyes glistened with joy unspeakable.

I heard a small still voice ” She is beautiful isn’t she? Her name is Wisdom.” The Lord was showing us,  allowing us to see that there are those who are crying out to Him on the behalf of so many. They have done this for years. They are known as the wailers. Those that are full of so much wisdom that are waiting to  pour out to anyone who will listen. These are those that are older and may not be in their prime yet they have aged like fine wine.

Again, I heard His small still voice. “Will you sit with them? Will you listen?” With tears in my eyes, I answered as I was coming out of this open vision. “Yes Lord, here I am, send me!”

During this season, take the time to slow down and listen. Take the time to spend with those that are elderly as they have so much to teach and there is so much yet to learn. Be intentional with your relationships with those that are elders. You will be so surprised by the amazing things they have experienced and even more surprised by the impartation of Heavenly wisdom they will pour out over you in order to carry on in wisdom for years to come.

Start a new project, learn something new, pick up a sewing machine, yarn and thread. There are many that will create in this coming year like never before. The wisdom received from the conversation you have with the elderly woman down the road will have you desiring to know more about how to become self sustainable. How to can food, how to bake bread, all of the ways of old coming together with the new.

God is going to teach you the hidden things and there will be keys to the mysteries that will be revealed. As you spend time with Him, God is going to grow you and you will carry the aroma of Christ out into the highways and byways with the newfound wisdom you have gained.

I hope this encourages you as much as it did me. Blessings to you all, in Jesus name.

The Bible says in Proverbs 4:6-7, “Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

Proverbs 14:1

“The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”

Proverbs 19:20

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.”

Proverbs 24:14

“Know also that wisdom is sweet to your soul; if you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”

Colossians 2:2-3

“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

James 1:5

“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”

James 3:17

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”
