A word for May: “The brook is dried, time to move” – A Word by Rachel Miranda Emerson

Today I heard “the brook has dried up.”The Lord was reminding me of Elijah in 1 Kings 17:9. Its time to go to the new place. The drying of the brook meant that it was time for Elijah to go to another place because God was in another place concerning Elijah. God is with you and there is a new place He is taking you to. We must trust the process and the journey. I heard this specifically for MAY.
As I went to lay down and go to sleep last night I asked the Lord, what is coming in May? What is the importance of this time and month Lord?
The drying up of the brook is an indication that what we were there for is now accomplished, done and its now over. It doesn’t mean you are living in the wilderness but it does reflect a thirst and a crying out to God for what is next. Elijah was comfortable with the rest and the ravens supplying his food. But then the water in the brook became dry and empty and it forced him out of the comfortable place. He had to make a new bold move.
We can’t stay in the same comfortable place and expect expansion and growth. We don’t grow unless we are stretched, tried and pushed. This is that place where you’ve out grown your present life (current connections, places and things). You must submit yourself to God’s direction as he relocates you.
God is relocating people and He is doing so geographically. He is moving people from the dried up brooks to the new geographical locations with flowing rivers in various places. It is not going to look like what you thought. I was reminded of this scripture:
“Many plans are in a man’s mind, But it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out).” Proverbs 19:21
May we move in obedience as the Lord is calling us out from the place of comfortability and familiarity. There is a new place God is positioning you to, and like Elijah, we must be obedient to go as the Lord speaks for us to GO.
“Recompense”
I also heard this word for the body of Christ. We hear this a lot but I asked the Lord what is coming for MAY to your people. I heard the word recompense and the scripture he gave me was this:
“I will give you back what you lost in the years when swarms of locusts ate your crops. It was I who sent this army against you. “Joel 2:25
This is a season of exponential pay back. I even hear a return on investments for people.
I decree this may begins the journey and process to the new place God has for you.
I decree you will have abundant favor in relocating.
I prophesy this is the season of your lives of divine recompense. There is payback and recovery coming in massive ways.
I decree a 7 fold return on your investments.
