Elaine is the proverbial gal next door, down to earth, but heavenly minded. She is married to her best friend, Jonathan, and they live in rural Pennsylvania.

A Word for Moms on Mother’s Day – A Word by Elaine Rice

I saw the word MOM in all capital letters and then I saw it turned upside down – WOW
My mind immediately went to the Scripture verse where the disciples were accused of turning the town upside down.
The Jews and some evil men attacked the house of Jason looking for Paul and Silas. Acts 17:6 (NKJV) But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.”
I felt the Lord saying that MOMs are about to WOW their worlds and turn their towns upside down! Many who have been hidden are coming out in their families, neighborhoods, workplaces, businesses, social media, all levels of government, arts, entertainment, and even in their churches.
I sense the Lord is giving a new level of courage and boldness to anyone who is willing to say “YES” and mean it. He is mantling MOMs (biological Moms, step Moms, spiritual Moms, Grandmothers, Aunts, Sisters) with a new walk of authority. Many have a head knowledge of walking in the authority of Christ but have not stepped out to activate His authority in their sphere of influence.
Father says, I have heard the cries of my women warriors in the secret place and NOW I am rewarding them openly. NOW I am making a way where there seemed to be no way. NOW I have given you My favor and favor to open doors that have been closed until NOW.
Then I saw the word NOW – again, in all capital letters. Immediately following NOW was the word now backwards – WON. I sensed the Lord saying, “Do not fear to step out NOW as the victory has already been WON!
WOW MOMs – it’s time to step out in the confidence of our Papa and turn our towns upside down. NOW because He has already WON the victory for us! Hallelujah!
