“The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!” (Psalm 118:16 MSG)
Amongst a gathering of a company of prophetic people in San Diego, I heard the Lord say the words, “HIGH TIDE”. A high tide is a result of water MOVING towards the land. It is usually considered the best tide to bring in a great fish BOUNTY.
The Lord said, “Your days of getting skunked are OVER. You are entering a season where your nets will be FILLED to OVERFLOW. The MOTHER LODE has your name on it as I AM the God of OVERFLOW and am intervening on your behalf.”
Two scriptures came to mind as I jotted down this word. The first is in John 21:6 where Jesus instructs the fishermen to cast their nets on the other side of the boat and their nets were so FULL that they could barely draw them in. The second is the iconic verse in Matthew 4:19-20 where Jesus invites the fishermen to FOLLOW HIM and become FISHERS OF MEN.
To further understand the context of the term “MOTHER LODE”, I learned that it first became popular during the California Gold Rush but refers to a region of California according to The California State Mining Bureau. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, it refers to: the principal vein or lode of a region; a principal SOURCE or SUPPLY.
As I released this word within the gathering, a gentleman added that the “KING TIDES” are scheduled to come to this region over the weekend on December 23rd and 24th and on January 21st and 22nd of 2023. Immediately I thought of our KING JESUS who is our one TRUE source and supply.
Earlier this month, I received and released a prophetic word that ties in beautifully and says, “Be expectant for things to be DIFFERENT in these next two months of TRANSITIONING into 2023 which is a year of VICTORY”.
Just like the men at the Sea of Galilee who became the first disciples, God is inviting us to do things differently than we have in the past seasons and as we make room for Him to STIR THE WATERS and TURN THE TIDES, a great ABUNDANCE of RESOURCES and PROVISION will come forth to assist us in fulfilling the GREAT COMMISSION.
