Last week was a week full of what I like to call God surprises! It was a week full of awe and amazement to say the least. The Bible says in Luke 18:27

27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

Trusting God to do what only He can do in this season is a lesson we are learning daily. I say we, because many times my children and I have experiences that have grown our faith alongside one another to a point where we know that we know that we know that God will do it every time.

We went into a store to purchase some items for our home that we needed since the boys think we “own a small farm” and that they have to take in every animal they see. We grabbed guinea pig food for David and Goliath, cat food for Esther, Holy Ghost, and Pentecost, and crickets and meal worms for our newest addition the turtle named Lion of Judah. Yes, these are the names of our pets. Lol.

I decided to look to see if there were any shoes on sale they could just knock around in. I found some that were $2.00 a pair! What a score, right! My youngest son was with me and he said “Mommy, we need to buy all of them!” I responded “For what J’zpar (pronounced Jasper)?” He smiled and said “Hold on Momma, I’ll be right back!” He ran and grabbed a cart and started filling it up with the shoes! I looked at him and asked him “How do you suppose we are going to get all of these? This is not in our budget!” He smiled so big and said “You may not have it in your budget, but God does!” He continued putting all the shoes in the cart, only leaving a couple pairs on the rack.

I quickly sent a message to our prayer team explaining what was happening and how we were going to evangelize the next day! Several people sowed into getting the shoes to give away! We went to the front of the store, another notification came through the phone, and it was another seed! I looked at J’zpar and before I could say anything he says “We can go back and get the rest now! Another angel has sent a seed!” By this time I was crying, overwhelmed with joy, in awe of what God was doing. Only, this was just the beginning!

We grabbed the rest of the shoes, went back up to the counter, now pulling 2 carts full of items, and J’zpar helping! We got in line behind a man and starting organizing the items we had. My cart bumped the man in front of me and I felt so bad, apologizing to him, he smiled and said “It’s okay, you didn’t hurt me.” A woman gets in line behind us and she asks “Why are you buying so many pairs of shoes?” I explained to her that we were doing street ministry the next day and that we were getting the shoes to give away. She smiled and said “That is the nicest thing I have heard in a long time. Is there any way we can help?” I shared where we were meeting, the time and the details. I turned back around and the man in front of me had his hand out with a 100 dollar bill, handing it to me. He said “Here, this is for you! I know this was God’s timing. Hearing you reminded me to return to my first love. I am from California and when I lived there we did street ministry.”

Well, the water works turned on. I was crying, the cashier was crying, the lady behind me was crying. We were all thanking God for what He allowed us to experience. There were Hallelujah’s being heard through our line. We were all praising God right there. In the line at the store!

It wasn’t the fact the man gave the money, it was what he said that hit my heart! God had used us to remind him to return back to his first love. Jesus. Jesus was this man’s first love. Even typing this out now has me in tears of joy. I am so amazed at how perfect God’s timing is. We had gotten out of the line to go back and get more shoes, to come back and have all this happen.

I share this to encourage you all. I am believing that when we make the choice to step out in faith, that God will provide all that we need to accomplish His will in the earth. I am believing that as we listen for His small still voice, even when it comes through our children, we are going to experience his love on unprecedented levels. I am believing that what God did for us, He is going to do for you to! Blessed to be a blessing! I pray, that on today, whatever it may be that God has laid on your heart to do, don’t look at your bank account, trust God! What He can do in a brief moment in His perfected timing will far supercede what we can do on our own.

This is the season where the harvesters are being sent out. This is the season where you will find not only miracles, signs and wonders coming after you, but favor will follow you everywhere you go. This is the season where God is going to bless you to be a blessing to others. The time is NOW!
