BROKE NO MORE!
I heard the Lord say that the work that you are doing is not in vain! Many are struggling with their finances. Many need a breakthrough! Today I am giving you 3 keys to walk in prosperity! Prosperity doesn’t mean to have just enough to pay your bills! It means having more than enough to do what God has called you to do! Below are 3 keys to break the back of the spirit of poverty and learn to be broke no more!
KEY #1 TITHE
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this…and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. -Malachi 3:10
Tithing is a principle taught throughout the entire Bible. A tithe is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income that is given back to the local church. Tithing is first introduced in Genesis 4:4 and continues through to the New Testament when Jesus spoke of it in Matthew 23:23. It is not an Old Testament Law, but it is an overarching teaching throughout the Bible. As a matter of fact, there are over 2,000 scriptures in the Bible that address money and money management.
Bringing back a percentage of our income in tithes is an opportunity for us to give God our thanks, show God we trust Him, and fight against greed. The love of money will compete as the number one competitor of our heart. 1 Timothy 6:9-10 reminds us that, “Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
For many, the idea of bringing the first 10% of our income to God seems overwhelming. The thing is, it doesn’t matter how much or how little we make, God promises to pour out blessings on us when we tithe. Tithing is about training our heart to trust God at His Word.
If you don’t feel comfortable tithing at your home church, then find a church you feel comfortable tithing at and tithe there.
KEY #2 SAVE YOUR MONEY
Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. -Proverbs 13:11
Precious treasure and oil are in a wise man’s dwelling, but a foolish man devours it. -Proverbs 21:20
If you can’t save a little money, then you won’t save a lot of money. Becoming wealthy happens by saving money. I recommend setting 10 percent of your income aside in a savings account and begin living off the 80 percent. If you say that it is impossible in your situation, then I have to ask you a question. Are you looking to God as your Source or are you looking to your paycheck and employer as your source? Trust God.
KEY #3 DEVELOP A LIFESTYLE OF GENEROSITY
In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive. -Acts 20:35

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. -Proverbs 19:17
Give of your time.
I encourage you to give of your time to helping others. Pull over and help someone change their flat tire. Give of your time at your home church. You don’t HAVE TO give of your time at church. You GET TO give of your time in your church. What a difference! Ask your pastor how you can give more of your time to help advance the Gospel through the local church.
Give of your talent.
If God has given you a gift, then use it. When you use your gift, use it in love. Jesus is looking for those to love the least of these in this hour. Loving others by serving them with your gifts is how the world will come to know Christ.
Give of your treasure.
Living a lifestyle of generosity begins by recognizing that giving to others is a gift. I believe you can’t out give God, so when you’re trusting Him with your time, talent and treasure I know that He will bless the rest (Proverbs 3:9-10 and Malachi 3:10-12).
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.-Romans 12: 4-8
Christians should be the most generous people (2 Corinthians 9:6) on earth to support worthy causes, and there is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church (Ephesians 3:10)!
I really pray that these keys that I have shared with you will unlock the chains of poverty and lack and that you will become financially free.
I also want to invite you today to partner with us in the ministry my wife and I have been entrusted with. We are planting a life giving church that is changing the world! Our vision is people. Hundreds are hearing the Gospel resulting in dozens receiving Christ as their Lord and Savior. Many are experiencing physical and emotional healing, and precious lives are being set free from bondage by being delivered by the power of God!
If the Son sets you free, then you are free indeed! -John 8:36
