Call To The Harvesters – A Word by Amber Johnson

I recently had a prophetic dream that I knew was meant for the body of Christ as a whole and felt prompted to share. In the dream, I was watching people prepare a small fish aquarium. The fish tank had a few scattered rocks of different sizes in the bottom of it, and the person trying to prepare it was at a sink to try to fill the tank with water even though the bottom of the tank looked incomplete and in disarray. I washed my hands in this sink and then walked over to where I saw the Lord preparing a giant fish tank. God’s tank was much bigger, and the rocks at the bottom were organized into a beautiful and orderly pattern that only He could do. The tank had been filled with water and ready for the fish.

I understood that this tank the Lord had prepared was ready to go, and that my job was not to prepare the tank but to go get the fish. I went over to where there were piles of plastic appearing fish in baskets. I picked up a couple at a time, continuously looking to the Lord for direction. The second I placed fish in the tank He had prepared, they came alive and began swimming around and it was so beautiful to watch. Some of the plastic looking fish in the pile I was reaching from were actually sharks. They had the distinguishing feature of being able to move around outside the water whereas the true fish only came alive in the water. I kept looking to the Lord for direction, carefully separating the whales which were able to go in the main fish tank He prepared from the sharks, which I had to place in a separate smaller tank away from all the other fish. Since the sharks could move even before they hit the water, one time one of the sharks bit my hand when I picked it up! But i kept looking to the Lord for instruction and thankfully I was able to put that shark in the small separate tank and easily shake off the bite as more of a nuisance than anything causing true injury.

THE LORD’S NEW WINESKIN

I asked Holy Spirit for insight into this dream, and these are some of the things He showed me: The two different aquariums represent two different wineskins. The first is man-made and the second is God-made.

While the man-made wineskin is in disarray, God has a new wineskin that he has prepared Himself. It is beautifully orchestrated with a brilliant and orderly foundation He hand-laid Himself. This wineskin He has prepared is full of the Living Waters of his Spirit and the moment people come in contact with the fullness of the spirit He has poured out in this place, they come alive in Him. They find freedom and are free to be who they were created to be, no longer forced to conform to a plastic existence of man-made religion and rules. The Lord wants His people fully alive, and He has prepared the new wineskin of His love that has capacity to contain the life-giving Spirit waters that turn death into life.

Life in the spirit is empowered by grace and faith, and the new wineskin represents a return to the fullness of life brought by a revelation of His grace and the resulting life of faith. No more striving, no more proving, no more living for the approval of man. Such things chain us to the bondage of death (Romans 7:9-10), making us walk around half alive. Now is the time to step into the fullness of Life which only comes by faith (Romans 1:17).

THE HARVEST IS READY

The harvest is ready, but the laborers are few (Luke 10:2). I know this dream was meant for more than just me. The Lord is calling to his laborers in this hour to go to the fish that have been going through the plastic motions of religion and return them to the life-giving waters of His spirit. I am calling with heaven for an overturning of the bondage of religion in this hour. It is time to set the captives free. Imagine what the church will do once freed from the shackles of religion; nothing will be impossible (Matthew 17:20).

LOOKING TO HIM FOR GUIDANCE

In my dream, I had to carefully separate out the sharks, looking to the Lord moment-by-moment for instruction to be sure I was separating correctly. Discernment is so important in this hour. We must keep our eyes on the Lord, never straying from that posture of looking to Him for our moment-by-moment instruction. We have an Enemy who is interested in preying upon those same fish we have been sent to free, and we must not be ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). In the dream, I was able to recognize the sharks by their ability to live outside the water, which I think is important symbolism for us. Those who survive outside the Spirit are not the ones we are sent to catch. The Lord is looking for the hungry ones, the broken ones, the ones who have a longing deep within them, the ones who know they are living half-alive and who are longing for that something they maybe haven’t experienced but know must be – the ones who have a longing deep inside them to be made alive by his Spirit. Only the Lord can show us the difference. That is why in the dream I had to be so connected to the Father’s instruction, discerning which ones were content to live outside the Spirit versus the ones that are ready to be made alive in Him. There is a word of caution here, I cannot overstate the importance of looking to Him for direction. Sharks may look quite spiritual – they can appear alive even though they are not in the spirit which is extremely deceptive. And the fish in need of His touch but hungry on the inside might look spiritually dead and it will take spiritual eyes to see their readiness to come alive. We cannot tell the difference based on outward appearance or things in the natural. We can only distinguish the difference by looking to Him for instruction.

PRAYER

Lord, give Your laborers eyes to see into the realm of the spirit. I prophesy to the laborers spiritual eyes that see beyond outward appearances to see as God sees. I decree we will not be deceived by anyone who preaches any other gospel than the Gospel of Jesus. We decree hidden schemes of the Enemy to be revealed to us so that anything that looks like life but is devoid of the spirit will be null and void, powerless to prey on us or deceive us. I prophesy to the people who have been placed in bondage to death and religion and say, “Wake up! Break off your shackles and come meet my Jesus who is Resurrection Life.” Amen.
