I had a recent encounter where I was taken to a large statue. The statue was of a man riding upon a horse reading the Bible. The Angel of the Lord spoke to me and said, “Look, for I will show you a sign of the time. This statue of the circuit rider that shed his blood for the only begotten Son will be a sign to what is to come. For Satan has desired to sift the christian legacy of your nation. He has set in his heart to remove the sacred heritage of the pioneering preachers that gave their blood for the gospel in this great land.” Suddenly I saw an angry mob attempt to pull down the statue from its pedestal as they screamed, ‘pull it down, pull it down!’ The crowd shouted more violently, enraged that it would not fall to the ground, ‘pull it down, pull it down!’
The scene shifted to a young man standing on a wooden platform preaching in the middle of the street holding a sign that read, the Kingdom of God is at hand. There was fire in his eyes and the word of the Lord was in his mouth. He preached with compassion and conviction the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many standing by became enraged at what they heard and ran at him shouting, ‘pull him down, pull him down, pull him down’, but the presence of God was so strong that they could not remove him from his place. A glorious glow came upon his face as he preached. The light was so bright that it blinded those that attempted to remove him and suddenly they were knocked to the ground and fell on their faces. You could hear many weeping as they repented before the Lord.
The Angel of the Lord spoke again, “Go forth into the darkness for I have been sent to labor with you in America. The memory of the circuit riders that rode across this nation will never be moved nor removed for the Lord has etched their names in the Lambs book of life for eternity, but now is the time for your generation to arise and shine. For your generation will bare the fruit of the seeds that were planted by these pioneers generations ago. Now tell others that justice and judgment are the habitation of the Lord’s throne. And mercy and truth will go before this generation’s face. Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound for it will be a battle cry that breaks off the bondage of darkness. For those that bare reproach for the Lord’s name will walk in the light of the Lord’s countenance in this day. They will go forth and preach with power in this hour and will not be moved. Watch as the tide recedes back upon the shore for a third wave of circuit riders will arise during this third great awakening and a tsunami wave of revival will crash upon America’s shore.” -Prophet Charlie Shamp
