Due to a high level of warfare that has taken place over the past few years many of God’s people have been living in confined spaces. Instead of advancing the Kingdom, they have been maintaining the Kingdom.
We are transitioning away from a prolonged period of conflict and restriction towards a phase characterized by growth and advancement.
Jesus is saying come out of the trenches and look around; I have scattered your enemies. Jesus’ directive is to overcome obstacles as barriers are being dismantled. This presents a window of opportunity to construct what couldn’t be achieved previously.
“God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered, and those who hate him shall flee before him!” Psalm 68:1
I had a vision. Jesus took me to stand at the top of the earth, and he was holding a bow and arrow. In my mind, I speculated He would release fire into the world. He started strategically shooting into different nations and regions. I watched intently when the arrows landed; to my surprise, as the arrow struck the ground, water poured out into that region. This water carried provision, alignment, strength, and hope. As people drank, they were infused with purpose and passion—something people were depleted of in the trenches.
A message for those coming out of the trenches. Fix your eyes upon Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Jesus the one who is and is to come. Jesus, the Saviour of the world. Jesus the one who has already overcome the world. Jesus the prince of peace.
This is a time to build. It is crucial to cling to God’s promises and prophetic revelations, deploying them as tools to establish the impending season of Kingdom progress. As they are released into the atmosphere, we will see the mountain of God exalted about all other societal mountains bringing things on the earth into greater perspective.
“It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills, and peoples shall flow to it, and many nations shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” Micah 4:1-2a
