Come To Me.. Come Up Here And See.

A Word by Lisa Hernandez

On May 2nd as I was singing in my heavenly language during my quiet time with the Lord, I heard in my spirit as a whisper, “Come to me.”  And as I continued to sing and focus more intently on His presence, I then heard in my spirit, “Come up to me.”  Naturally, I sat silent for a few moments and when the time felt right I opened up my Bible.

The Lord began to show me where in the Bible He had spoken saying these two phrases.

I came upon Exodus 24:12; The Lord said to Moses, Come up to me on the mountain and stay here and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”  Now of course I didn’t think that the Lord was giving me tablets with commandments on them.  But He did say, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here.”

The next scripture that I came upon is Song of Songs 2:10.  Where the Lord said to His beloved, “Arise my darling, my beautiful one, come up with me.” I began to see what is on the heart of our gracious God as a picture of His love and longing for His Church, His precious bride; became ever clearer.

Mark 6:31 Explains that the disciples of Jesus were so busy with people coming and going to see Jesus that they hadn’t even eaten. The Lord said to them, ” Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place.”  But in John 5:40 As Jesus was teaching He pointed out to the people around him that they refused to “Come to him to have life.”

Many of us would be offended to hear that from the mouth of our savior.  And yet, we become so busy in our day to day that we forget to “Come to Him” and then we wonder how our day was sidetracked and our time was seemingly not our own.  Now that we have been forced to slow down, I can hear Him more clearly as He whispers to me, “Come up here.” and I find the longing in His words compels me to stop and seek His face. Beloved, He is the bread of life and the living water that we drink.  We must believe in His call to us and run to Him!

Doors opening and shutting.

As I was in His presence I saw doors opening and shutting.  I saw the enemy crouched outside a door and me on the inside of a room on the other side.  Gen 4:7  “…But if you do not do right, sin crouches at the door.” I could see that the Lord wanted me to come near to Him to avoid opening the door to sin!  The busier we become in our daily lives the more we can become distracted and that is when the enemy attacks.

Doors are significant as symbols of both Danger and safety.  Doors can be signs of deliverance or bondage. And are a prominent feature during Passover Celebration. Doors are portals by which the righteous may enter; Psalm 118:19-20 Open for me the gates of the righteous,; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.  This is the gate of the LORD through which the righteous may enter.

In Revelation 3:20 Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door , I will come in and eat with that person and they with me.”

This then is what the Lord spoke to me as I began to write;

My beloved, there is an enemy at your gates! Come to me, come up to my holy mountain .  Come to me and I will show you what is to come.  For the LORD, Your God; El Shaddai; The Holy one of Israel calls to you. Come up here and stay a while.  Rest under the shadow of my Almighty presence.

For I have chosen you for myself!  You are spoken for and your heart and mind are the gate and door that lead you to my keep; where I will hold you in my power. You are in the palm of my hand. I will never leave you.  I have sealed your heart for my courts and your spirit is already in heavenly places with me.  I will preserve you in this  time of uncertainty.

You will not fall from my grip.  For I AM is with you and will keep you. My word is your food and will be sweet as honey to your lips.  My blood has made you Holy and righteous .  I will not let you fail in pursuing the hidden treasures that I will make known to you, that I have hidden in secret places for you to find.  But to find them you must come to me.

Come with me to a quiet place and get some rest.  I will give you fresh water and bread.  There is nourishment in my presence.  Do not open the door to the enemy of your soul.  Instead open the door to redemption and liberation and be delivered into my presence, where I will keep you from the terrible day!

The door to redemption and liberation is the word of the Lord and My word is sweet as honey and good for your soul.  Make my words more than parchment or skins; for I AM the word – The Living Word!  I AM the gate by which you are saved!  I AM the one who stands at the door of redemption and deliverance and knocks!  open the door of your heart and I will come in, I and my Father; and we will make our home with you.

The way to open the door that leads to life is to open My word and know Me.  I AM the beginning and the end; and everything in between points to Me!  To know My word is to know Me.  To know Me is to know my father and to know that I AM in your heart by My Spirit, whom I have sent to be your guide and advocate.  He will lead you into truth.  I AM the way , I AM the truth, I AM the life!  No one comes to me unless my father draws them to me.

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets: “They will all be taught by God; Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him , comes to Me.”

So come up to Me my beloved; Arise my darling, my beautiful one, come up with Me and rest.  Open the door of your heart, and enter into my rest. This is my word to you.

As soon as I had read back to myself what He released to me, I clutched my note book close to my heart.  I almost didn’t want to share it.  But I knew that as much as is is for me, it is for you also loved ones.  I pray that you receive it today.

With love for all of the saints,
Lisa
