Cross The Line – A New Era Word For 2021 and Beyond – A Word by Mandy Woodhouse

At 12:04am on 1/1/21, I went into a vision of myself (representing the Body of Christ) stepping over a line that had been drawn by the Lord ages ago. It was not a cliché crossing over from one year to the new one; it was an invitation to carry a GREATER GLORY in this new era.

As I chose to step over that line, I knew that crossing the line meant never going back to what was on the other side, and it was a weighty decision. Stepping over that line required new levels of purity, humility and holiness, but crossing over also meant that there would be massive GLORY to come on the other side. Deep repentance and burning off of anything that does not remain. It was a sign of my MATURITY in Christ, and I knew that it was time to step into it.

Crossing this line means for the body of Christ, crossing into BIRTHRIGHT. It’s a line that has fallen to us in pleasant places (Psalm 16:6). Birthright comes when the heirs are of age and ready to handle it. And I felt the gravity of the words in my Spirit, saying over and over “IT IS TIME TO CROSS AND NOT LOOK BACK.” Its time stop selling our birthrights for beans (Genesis 25), and it’s time to grow up into all that He has for us.

Proverbs 22:28 – “Do not remove the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set.” It’s important to note that this line in my dream was a line that was already there, set by the Father, and not a line that I, myself, had drawn in the sand. It was as if it was an invitation that had been set for many years, and it was a sacred line that could not be altered in any way. Choosing to cross this line meant I was choosing a HIGHER WAY, a holy way, and that I would never be able to go back after stepping into my true birthright.

I also had a strong sense that this birthright is MINE, and the enemy can no longer intimidate or trick me out of what is mine. Likewise, I cannot alter or compromise what He has set for me. I felt Him calling me to GROW UP, to move past the deceitful spirits of apathy, false humility, fear of man, even intimidation that have come after me. It’s time to LIVE HIGHER, from my true place of victory (Ephesians 2:6).

When I crossed the line, I also saw that a new CROWN was coming onto my head. This was significant for me as I had received in the post, anonymously, a superhero crown on New Year’s Eve. The Lord began to speak to me personally about this crown hours before this vision, but He showed me a greater depth for the Body of Christ within the dream itself.

The crown means several things for the Body:

– To cross the line means to stop forfeiting our DOMINION in our spheres, nations and families.

– Putting on this crown means taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE LAND…first through prayer and intercession, then as the Holy Spirit leads in action.

– Claiming birthright means not running away, but STANDING. And standing. And standing again. Standing with faces like flint if necessary (Isaiah 50:7; Ephesians 6:13).

– Claiming the crown means RULING AND REIGNING over territories, and those who wear the crown fight and TAKE WHAT IS THEIRS when necessary.

Matthew 11:12 – “The kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”

Crossing the line is not a fork in the road; it’s a stake in the ground! It is time.

Crossing the line also brings with it a more intense LIGHT. A light that radiates from the faces of those who seek Him above all else.

I Heard Him say, “No more shadow living.” What was kept in the shadows cannot remain because it is sinking sand! No more compromise or double mindedness. And in the exposure between what is light and what is dark, even in the personal purification, it is the LORD JESUS that shall be revealed above all! Jesus, and everything that He is.

I also saw revealed the Almighty God WHO truly IS ABOVE ALL PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS! As the simple gospel of Jesus is preached and light shines from their unashamed faces (Psalm 34:5), signs and wonders WILL accompany (Mark 16:17-18). There WILL be an increase of signs, wonders, miracles and a MASS SALVATION HARVEST in this coming era. The fear of God on those who choose to cross the line will be unlike anything the world has ever seen, and there will be a great overflow of glory and fire that comes from those who carry their birthright. When they look to Jesus, even their enemies will turn their eyes to glance at Him because of the glory and fire that is on THEM.

Revelation 11:11-12 – “But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them.”

This is a kairos moment to arise and shine (Isaiah 60) into maturity. It’s not just time to wake up – it’s time to grow up into everything He has promise.
