Crossing Over in Passover
A Word by Dr. Pam Morrison
This morning I woke dreaming and with the strong presence of the Holy Spirit with me.
I feel this dream was a dream relevant to the Body of Christ, a Passover message.
In the dream, I was in a “new” house, not newly built, but a new location for me.
I walked around inspecting the rooms and I was aware of my mother with me. She was the one who had organized the purchase of this home. I was looking in the bedroom for my children and noticed that their beds were in this room and our furniture was already moved into the house.
This had all happened so suddenly. She said to me, “We will sleep here tonight.” As I looked through the children’s room, I said there is as much and more space here. I looked in their bathroom and realized there was a washer and dryer in it which was an extra blessing as we already have a washer and a dryer. Now we would have two of each.
I did notice that there was art work and some writing and chips in the wall paint and the carpets needed replacing. I said, “If you had waited, we could have had these things repaired before we moved in.” But then, I had the sense that they could easily be renovated and were trivial details. The point was that we had this house, an important and good house, and we were suddenly moved in.
As the dream closed, I was gathered with a new crowd of people worshipping and was excited to share the news with a friend, a prophetic intercessor, that we were in an apostolic church.
I woke with a spiritual excitement that I continue to feel as I write. Here is what I sense the Lord was saying to me/us through the dream.
The shift in the Spirit has already begun. Tonight is the beginning of Passover and all is changing for God’s people who love Him and trust Him. We are being “relocated”- Many of us in spiritual positioning and awareness. Others are actually on the eve of moving in the natural as the Lord directs.
This is happening suddenly and though in the natural there are things that need repair – our health and financial situation due to the pandemic would be one – the move is happening over and above those things. The move in the Spirit is greater than those things. God is moving us to a place of blessing, spiritually and in terms of resources. (The house was purchased at a bargain and had double provision of washers and dryers – symbolizing God’s blessing of us and provision for our needs)
In the dream, I fretted about the “marks of the past,” the drawings on the wall, the chips in the paint, and the worn carpets, but they seemed irrelevant. We are ready to go forward into a new era, a new season, a new way of being the Church. The move overshadows our sense of having to make ourselves ready and have all our “ducks in a row.” God is moving us forward.
This is multi-generational. My mother, my children, and me in the dream gave me a sense of the entirety of the move for the generations of people who will say, “Yes, Lord, move me forward in Your plans, Your season, and in Your way. I give control to You once again, Sovereign Lord, and relinquish my sense of how and where it should be, what it should look like.”
And the ending of the dream, in the assembly of people worshipping God with the word, “apostolic,” being used – my sense of the meaning of the word in the dream was a reference to true, worshipping, empowered people, worshipping in spirit and in truth, a people preparing to be sent out in influence to the world, to freshly preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. In the dream, the worship felt especially vibrant, on fire. The desire to message the prophetic intercessor was a call to pray and declare this right now crossing over into the new era God has prepared.
Exodus 14:13 “Moses answered the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.'”
