Dangerous Ones, Time to Shine! (The Rising of The Dangerous Ones! Part 2) – A Word by Dawn Baker

After writing ‘The Rising of the Dangerous Ones”, I lingered quietly in a spirit of worship. Having an intimate audience with the one you love, you don’t want to leave His company; so, I sat quietly, wiping tears from my eyes. He has so captivated my heart.

Finally going back to bed, turning off the lights, I noticed a glow in my room. Closing my eyes tightly then opening them repeatedly, the glow remained. There was no street light, no outside light from another room, no night light, yet there was a light; it was undeniable, shining like a warm glow in my room. Then I realized it’s coming from me!! Jesus said, “The Kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21) I’d invited Him in long ago and for years, He’s been molding and shaping me, purifying and preparing me, to do something with and through me, that even I don’t know the whole. That light filling up my room with this warm glow was the Spirit of God living on the inside of me, His tabernacle. “For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6)

Years ago, I had an encounter that deeply impacted me. It was so real that I, still to this day, can’t tell you if it happened or if it was a dream or a vision. Two angels entered my bedroom in the night while I was in my bed. They were tall, muscular and very dutiful, as though on assignment. One backed in while the other walked in face first. Between them was a large rectangular shaped gold box. They sat it down at the foot of my bed and exited exactly the same way they had entered. The next day, I recalled the event and googled ‘large gold rectangular box’. Up came pictures of ‘The Ark of the Covenant’. THAT’S IT! But, what did it mean? Why did these angels bring this to me, leaving it at the foot of my bed? Why were they so dutiful, never glancing at me, not speaking a word, but as though they were on assignment and it was a holy act.

God has appointed times and I believe we are in His “appointed time”. God holds time and prepares us for what is already set; it’s His plan. Throughout ‘time’ as we know it, He has always prepared a people to ‘be’ one with Him, trusted to carry the glory of His very presence. I believe now “WE” are those people, a chosen generation, predestined from the foundations of the world, for the fullness of time, to show forth HIS boundless GLORY, ushering in ‘The Kingdom of God’!

God has always chosen to show up using the ‘least likely’. Paul was a terrorist brutally hunting and killing Jesus followers. Mary Magdalene was full of demons and Peter denied even knowing Jesus but he was still the rock Jesus would build His church upon that the gates of Hell would not prevail against! They were Gods Chosen, anointed and appointed to change the world! Now, it’s our turn! We are vessels, human tabernacles, to show forth His Glory that the excellency might be of CHRIST, not ourselves. This is HIS Kingdom Come; HIS Will being done on earth as it is in Heaven!

“as a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:10)

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” (Isaiah 60:1-3)
