Destiny Is Hinged On Our Obedience – A Word by Amy Sutherland

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. [Exodus 33:12; Isa. 49:1, 5; Rom. 8:29.]”

While there is the office of the prophet, additionally it is written “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.” 1 Corinthians 14:1.
The word prophet in Hebrew as referenced in Jeremiah is nabiy’ – a prophet or inspired man. The Lord desires to speak through all those in right relationship with Him to inspire others.
Priests To Our God, Ambassadors In This Earth
We all have a prophetic destiny; to inspire others with Love and bring forth the Spirit of Lord. Being inspired by the Holy Spirit is allowing Him to speak His message through you. On this earth we are God’s messengers, His ambassadors. Allowing the Lord to speak through us can look like encouragement, edification, foresight, activation, wisdom, and knowledge (though not limited to these examples). Above all being inspired by His Spirit means we draw man back to their Creator to encounter the Lord. Hebrews 4:12 writes, “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” God’s word is the plumb-line and both encourages and corrects.
This is a critical hour for the church to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). It is clear in the above reference in Jeremiah 1:5 that the Lord has called and chosen us before we were born. In Psalm 139 it is written “Lord, you know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind.”, “You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb.” Psalms 139: 1,2,13 TPT.
As Christ’s ambassadors, we reveal the message of the Kingdom. We are called and chosen to influence nations, that every tribe and tongue would be inspired by God’s Holy Spirit and encounter His Son. “And they sang a new song [of glorious redemption], saying, “Worthy and deserving are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom [of royal subjects] and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth.””
Revelation 5:9-10 AMP
The Heart Of Prophecy
“Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he [stopped me and] said to me, “You must not do that; I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who have and hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God [alone]. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy [His life and teaching are the heart of prophecy].” Revelation 19:10 AMP. If we as believers hold the testimony of Jesus, and Jesus is the spirit and heart of prophecy – then He the Alpha and Omega has beheld every life in His heart all along. Every one of us is tattooed on the palms of His hands, always on His mind and a prophecy of His heart waiting to be fulfilled. How then can we justify remaining silent regarding those destined to also fulfill His great commission?
The Lord is the giver of life; may we adhere to His precepts and be The Church that partners with Him in Spirit and in Truth. May we be the ones that fight for the voiceless – born and unborn. May we fight for the future lives that are meant to inspire nations, may we be the ones who keep Your covenant and arise in righteousness declaring and decreeing to clear the way for every living yet unborn destiny inside the womb. You know them Lord, you have set them apart and on this side of heaven may we know them too.
Church, destiny is hinged on our obedience. Divide rightly. “If you will not believe [and trust in God and His message], be assured that you will not be established.” Isaiah 7:9 AMP; “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.” Isaiah 7:9 NIV
