“Do You Know Jesus?” – A Word by Dawn Baker
Your first response may be a quick ‘yes’; but, I challenge you, ‘do you?’
Many know ‘Religion’. They’ve fallen prey to a psyop, Hell’s biggest disinformation strategy ever! It was used to crucify Jesus. And, it’s gone on for centuries tricking men and women into ‘man’s control’. It was for Freedom Jesus Christ came. I love the example of the man Jesus Christ that Matthew, Mark, Luke and John tell in the gospels. He was just an ordinary man, a carpenters son; by today’s standards, a ‘nobody’. (Philippians 2:6-7) Yet He was the very image of the invisible God in flesh (Colossians 1:15), coming on a mission with the most powerful message ever told, “I love you”.
Love is Unconditional. As humans we often put conditions on Love when in actuality conditions are placed on ‘Relationship’. As parents, we love our children, it’s not contingent on what they do or don’t do; it’s all about ‘whose they are’. Right? Well THAT is exactly how God loves you and me, unconditionally. Because God is holy, an all consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29), we would burn up in His presence; so He has made a way for us to be holy. He who knew no sin became sin that we can have the choice to become righteous. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
I love you. Those 3 little words we’ve all thrown around. I’ve learned when it’s important, we should ask ‘what does that mean for you?’ Everyone’s dictionary is not the same. I told someone who’d told me many times they loved me, “if it were me and your money in a burning building I would burn”. With God, He didn’t just say, ‘I love you’; He gave everything, becoming a man that we can become Sons/Daughters of God. God had Everything; but everything without us just wasn’t His desire. We are His hearts desire. He chose us. He loves us that much.
“Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself,
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” Colossians 1:15
