Eagles Stay On Course – A Word By Travis Holland

I saw an eagle, majestically flying in a mountain top. There was a lush green valley below with a flowing river. I saw this eagle flying back to the nest and feeding the young eagles to provide what was needed to help sustain them and grow them. I saw the eagle flying out again spending even more time to get the food that was needed for the young eagles back in the nest. But suddenly I saw a black raven (a smaller scavenger bird, a bird that will feed off the dead things) attack the eagle. The raven was not attacking the eagle to get the food for himself, but the raven was attacking the eagle to deter it from feeding the young ones in the nest. I saw the eagle flew Undistracted by the attack of the raven, as if the eagle was saying I will not be deterred, I will not be distracted, I will not drop this food and nourishment that I have spent time gathering for my children. Then I saw a cloud part and an even larger more majestic golden eagle flew down and snatched up this little black raven. It was effortlessly removed from the eagle. And as the Golden Eagle removed the black bird. The talons that we’re latched onto the eagle and scars that were meant to remain, instantly were healed and oil covered them.

I heard the Lord say that my faithful ones are spending the time necessary to gather food to feed His Children, to equip them to nourish them, and to see them grow. But they have being under attack. They are under attack not because the enemy wants what they carry, but to distract them to the point that the veer of course and do not take what they carry to others.

There stands a choice in these attacks. You can keep on the course laid before you or to get distracted by the attack. Keeping your eyes focused on what God has laid before you is vital during this time. We can not focus on the enemy! We must remain steady upon the course knowing that this little pest is already dealt with from what Jesus did from the Cross to the Throne.

Remember Peter walked on water while the winds and waves were already going on. When his focus was steady on the path that he was called out onto, he walked over what he would normally sink in. He left comfortability & safety of the boat to pursue the calling of Jesus to Come! (Matthew 14:22-33)

But some have been so focused on the attack and the distraction. They study how the attack has come, they meditate on the attack itself, they take their eyes off the course they are flying and forget that they are carrying the very thing that people need.

But take heart, even when Peter took his focus off of Jesus for a few moments to look at the winds and the wave and began to sink, Jesus was right there to immediately to reach down and lift Peter back up onto walking on the water. Jesus restored him back to where he was before he lost his focus.

Those that carrying burdens…… time to lay them down. Your focus needs to be on Promise not the problems

Matthew 11:28 -NKJV
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

The Battle is the Lords not yours! Not matter how big the attack may seem.

2 Chronicles 20:15 and he said, “Listen carefully, all Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. This is what the Lord says: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast number, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

Don’t grow weary in doing good. There is a harvest that you will reap on the other side of your work.

Galatians 6:9
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

He will finish the work that he begun within you because you have a course to run, a destiny to fulfill, and people’s lives to impact.

Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

The enemy is already defeated, why give him more attention than what he deserves.

Colossians 2:15 “Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his!” TPT
