There are times when life can suck the expectation for good things right out of us if we don’t guard our hearts. Mark 11:22 tells us to “Let the faith of God be in you.” The faith of God is unwavering. It is full of expectation rooted in the character of God irrespective of the challenges of this life. When Jesus cursed the fig tree, He expected something to happen. He expected the fig tree to do just what He spoke, and it did! He expected the Father to honor His words, and He did! So it is for us. When we expect to see God’s goodness, we will see it!
According to Ephesians 3:20, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Expectation is powerful. I want to remind you that our expectation rests solely on His ability. It is absolutely possible to get what we expect and more! Our Heavenly Father is truly good like that! Need more goodness?Ask, think, imagine, expect, and receive it by faith. I’ve heard it said that, “nestled between asking and fulfillment is expectation.” Expectation is the bridge to your manifestation.
Will you remain confident in your expectation of seeing His goodness in the land of the living? Will you believe for His goodness even when your back is against the wall? I want to encourage you to keep your confidence in Him. He will show you His goodness!
Go ahead and thank Him now for showing you His goodness in the land of the living. Open your eyes wide so that you don’t miss His goodness. Expect it every day in every way, and you will see it! He is good, and everything He does is good. Expect His goodness!
