Fear Not
A Word by Aretha Cross
Fear not the pestilence around you. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I am the ring of fire around you, protecting you from all evil. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for I am the Lord, your God, and I am with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9) Yes, you will see a thousand fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. (Psalm 91) What the enemy meant for evil, I will use to spark the biggest fire of revival ever experienced on earth. My winds of revival will fan the flames from the north to the south, and from the east to the west. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; but I have come to give life abundant. (John 10:10). I will cause a multitude of salvations to spring forth in the midst of lives lost. My Light will be found in the darkness. My Truth will resonate like never before to those who would normally be oblivious to My existence. The lost will find their lives through My Life. Know that I am always in control. I am the Lord, and the earth is Mine, and the fullness thereof. (Psalm 24:1) In the midst of turmoil, you will see My grace flowing through the earth in the form of signs and miracles. I have even revealed Myself supernaturally to the afflicted ones, so that in their last breath they were saved. I am a gracious God, and where sin abounds, My grace abounds even more. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (John 14:27) You are My living stones in this world. You are My ambassadors, and your love outpoured, your security and confidence in Me, on display, your constant declaration of My life Word, along with your peaceful and calm demeanor, will be My most powerful witness to this world. They will look at you, and they will want to know the Source of your stability and peace in the midst of the storm. So, say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.” (Isaiah 35:4)
“In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.” (Isaiah 54:14)
“Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” (Proverbs 3:25-26).
“Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread.” (Isaiah 8:12)
