For Those Who Have Sown In Tears – A Harvest Of Joy Is About To Spring Up!
A Word by Kathi Pelton

“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” Psalm 126:5-6

As I meditated on these two verses the Lord highlighted the portion that says, 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑔𝑜 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑜𝑤. I suddenly was overcome by the pleasure of the Lord for His sons and daughters as they chose to sow seeds in the midst of their tears. I could feel how proud He is of His children who are pushing past their personal pain to sow seeds of worship, obedience, truth, finances, encouragement and honor.

Though many of these precious ones have slept upon pillows soaked with their own tears, they still make a choice to face the morning by sowing seeds that bring honor and pleasure to the heart of God. They know that He alone is worthy of all honor; even in the midst of their personal pain.

The enemy may work hard to cause shame and pain but God has a promise for you, “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Isaiah 61:7

What appears now to be losses will soon prove to be your season of multiplication. Many prophetic voices are hearing the words, “Double for your troubles” and I believe this to be true. Negatives will soon be positives and not only positives but multiplications.

Hold onto hope! Though hope may feel like a “long shot” in the midst of the current circumstances and pain…still- hold onto hope and keep sowing seeds in the time of weeping.

“Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.” Zechariah‬ ‭9:12‬

I believe that many will experience their double portion breakthrough in the month of May. I specifically sense that this month is an open door that enters the body of Christ into a time of many breakthroughs. The summer months will be marked by miracles and remembered as the summer of miracles and summer of redemption! Multiplication will mark your life!

Though tears of pain have fallen, they have watered seeds of joy that will suddenly spring forth like wildflowers that are even now covering the fields. You will stand in awe as you witness the grace, kindness and goodness of God. Your tears have fallen and watered the seeds you have sown in faith and hope. Songs of deliverance will soon be sung and the atmosphere will be filled with the sounds of joy.
