While in worship I had an incredible vision, the presence of God was so thick, so tangible, I literally felt on fire.
In the vision I saw a chess masters table and two seats either side, the room was in darkness. I saw my younger self, sitting at the table and my opponent was a demon. He was trying to beat me, with his strategies but I won, and my prize, was strength, knowledge, battle strategy and authority.
Then I saw just as in a chess tournament, the next opponent, would be another with more experience, more authority. I watched on the vision and I began to see how the major battles of my life playing out over a game of chess. I saw how each time I sat at the table, the devil sent who he could to try and defeat me, he sent poverty, lack, depression, suicide, he sent sickness, disease, even death but one by one I conquered and overcame.
I continued watching this incredible vision as it came to the master piece, the main game. I sat down at the table, now wiser, stronger, trained, equipped. I realized all my previous battles were leading me to this point. I heard God say “I have trained you to WIN, I do not train my sons or daughters to lose.” I looked up from my seat and I saw the devil in front of me. He had came himself to try and beat me but in that moment, I felt Jesus beside me and I said “Devil, I’m covered by the blood of Jesus. You have no victory over me. Get behind me Satan.” Then I heard a deathly screeching as the devil disappeared. He had been defeated. My refusal to play his game and instead stand on the blood of Jesus Christ, even though looking the devil right in the face, the blood was enough. The blood of Jesus is enough.
Satan is defeated. He cannot and will not win. Stop living like he has a hold over you. You are an overcomer, you are the head and not the tail, you are above and not beneath. You are in this world but you are not off this world, so you can stand in victory and battle from another place. Your weapons are not physical weapons, learn to use them, to resist the devil and watch him flee. Hold to the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and remember that greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.
