As the Body of Christ, we are in an exciting time as we have stepped into October and 5780, We have stepped into a new season, a season of the double portion. Have you noticed the Lord highlighting the number 2 in this season? It prophetically represents the double. Despite there being much to celebrate, many are entering this season battle weary, wounded, tired, dishearten. This past season, was one of great warfare. Although there are many excited about this new season, there are some in the Body that are having a hard time celebrating the new, because they have lost hope. While there are many promises being fulfilled, there are those who are heart sick and discouraged because the promises of God have not come to pass yet in their lives. Proverbs 13:12 TPT says, “When’s hope’s dream seems to drag on and on, the delay can be depressing. But when at last your dream comes true, life’s sweetness will satisfy your soul.”
What is hope? Hope is the confident expectation in God. Because of certain circumstances that have occurred over this past season, its caused a disappointment in many hearts. It’s caused many to question God’s goodness. But I want to encourage you to not lose hope, or throw away your hope. I want to encourage you from the words of David in Psalm 27:14 TPT, “Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up, don’t be impatient be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting for he will never disappoint you.” Although you’re circumstances may have left you in disappointment, we serve a God who will never disappoint. In this season you’re going to begin to see the tide turn and shift in your favor. Where you have experienced great shame, dishonor, and disappointment, God is going to give you double honor and a double portion of favor. (Isa 61:7). Tears will no longer be your portion. Joy unspeakable full of glory will be your portion. Laughter shall fill your mouth in this season. You will taste and see the goodness of the Lord like never before.
It’s important we don’t throw away our hope. When we throw away our hope we throw away our confidence, our authority, our identity (Hebrews 10:35) It’s time to put your crown of confidence back on. When we hold onto hope, hope becomes the doorway to faith. He desires to turn your Valley of Achor (trouble) into a doorway of hope. Hosea 2:14-15 AMP, declares,“Therefore, behold, I will allure Israel and bring her into the wilderness, And I will speak tenderly to her [to reconcile her to Me]. 15 Then I will give her her vineyards from there, And make the Valley of Achor a door of hope and expectation [anticipating the time when I will restore My favor on her]. And she will sing there and respond as in the days of her youth in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.” The Hebrew word for Achor means a valley of trouble or disturbance. That’s where many of you have been in this past season a valley, a season of trouble, disturbance, and agitation. You may not feel this, but it’s in the trouble and disturbance that God has been strengthening you and preparing to walk through the door of hope. You’re valley of trouble is turning into the door of hope and expectation. It’s ok to hope again. Hope is rising in the land. I saw the Lord releasing the Angel of Hope across the land touching households. and bringing restoration. As you encounter the angel of Hope, where you’ve been hopeless and depressed, you’re going to find yourself suddenly filled hope and expectation once again. I saw in a vision the Angel of Hope handing out balloons to those who were encountered. Prophetically balloons represent celebration, and childlike faith. He’s restoring your childlike faith!
God doesn’t just want us to stay in hope, he wants us to walk in faith. Because faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). Faith brings your hopes into reality. This is the season your hopes are going to begin to manifest. A couple months ago I had an encounter with the Angel of Promise in my living room. It has a rainbow that surrounds its head and can be found in Revelation 10:5-6. The Angel of Promise breaks delay. Where many destinies and promises have been held up in the spirit, the Angel of Promise is being released on your behalf to break the spirit of delay and every hindrance that has been opposing the promises of God in your life. His promises are yes and amen over you. He’s not changed his mind about you or your destiny. Many of you are going to see a sudden shift and acceleration from the fruit of the Angel of Promise touching your lives.
As you wait to see the manifestation of hopes and promises, continue to wait patiently and with expectation before the Lord. Be entwined as one before him. In waiting before the Lord, he’s going to strengthen and quicken you, where you have lacked the stamina and strength. He also wants to speak tenderly to you. He wants to draw you back to that place of first love. A place of remembrance and passion. When we become one with Him everything else fades away. I want to encourage you to position your heart in this season to hope again. Hope is rising in the land! Get ready to encounter the Angel of Hope and the Angel of Promise. Things are getting ready to dramatically shift in your life. A double portion of honor and favor is being poured out. Don’t give up and don’t loose hope. Hope and promise is being released.
