Get Ready To Run As We Go Into 2022 & There’s A New Generation Of Emerging Apostolic Leaders – A Word by Madeline James

In a dream (10/29/21) I traveled to a beach. On this beach there was a white watchtower that extended very high up into the sky. I ascended up many flights of stairs up. When I got to the top, there was a gathering of leaders. There were all kinds and types of leaders from the Body of Christ there. A known Apostle was there speaking to a group of seasoned leaders. He was asking them about, what was the new generation of apostolic leaders going to look like. He then turned around and pointed to me and asked me the question. He left the room before I could give an answer.

The scene changed and now I’m speaking to the seasoned leaders that the apostle was speaking to. I told the leaders in the dream that I had a dream. And in the dream I heard God say, “It’s time to run again.” One of the older male leaders spoke up and said, “Yeah God gave me that word a few years back.” They were missing the point. I emphasized again to the leaders that God said, “It was time to get their shoes on and run again.” But many of the leaders seemed weary and stuck and unmoved. As I was talking to them I was lacing up my shoes to go and the dream ended. But as I was waking up I kept hearing, “It’s time to run…it’s time to run…”

I believe this is such a powerful word for the Body of Christ in this season, and especially as we are heading into 2022. There is a great acceleration taking place and that will take place as we step into the new year. Much has changed and has been reset over the past couple years in the earth and in the Church realm. Just like the dream portrayed, the is calling His leaders to gather and get vision for what the new era and time looks like that we have entered into. There is a changing of guard taking place in the Body of Christ. I believe a part of the of the new generation apostolic leaders will carry the watchmen and seer anointing in a greater capacity like the prophet Habakkuk.

This dream is a picture out of Habakkuk 2 and Jacob’s ladder in Genesis 28. Habakkuk 2:1 NLT says, “I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint.” I believe we are in a time where like Habakkuk we must ascend to the high place above the noise and chaos, to hear and see what the Lord is saying. We need fresh instructions for the times we are in. Ascending the watchtower is a prophetic picture stepping into the heavenly realm so we see and know what is on the Lord’s heart. The book of Habakkuk depicts a time in the earth that is similar to what is happening now. Habakkuk had a lot of questions for the Lord about what was taking place and he took those to the Lord.

I believe this is a key for us in this time. We need to wait upon the Lord to receive his instruction. We can’t stay with old systems, old instructions, and old mindsets. The Lord has fresh instructions for us in this time. Habakkuk 2:2 says, “Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.” I had not seen this before but in this version of the verse, it stuck out that it says, “so the runner can run with the correct vision.” That is an important insight to heed. There are so many voices speaking and visions being released, that we must discern what is God and what is not. The answers and vision we need are not in this realm. We must ascend into heavenly realms to access heavenly vision and instruction. The Lord has an individual and corporate blueprint that will cause us to succeed and overcome.

Before we can run with the correct vision, we must write it out and make it plain. The Lord told Habakkuk to, “write out the vision plainly.” When we get the vision or answer from the Lord as we seek Him, it requires a level of interpretation. We need the help of Holy Spirit to interpret correctly what the Lord is saying. The wrong interpretation can cause delay, hope deferred, and can cause us or others to miss the Lord. Wait upon the Lord to get the correct vision.

When we write out the vision, it’s gives us vision. Prophetic words release prophetic vision. Proverbs 29:18 TPT says, “When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the Word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.” When you write the vision it brings it from the heavenly realm and, establishes in the earth realm. And it brings illumination to the eyes of our understanding so we can “see.”

Times, seasons, and events are accelerating upon the earth. Things will continue to excel as go further into the end time days. We must have the capacity and stamina to keep up. The pace is picking up as we go into 2022. 2022 will be a year of mysteries and revelations being revealed. Daniel 2:22 NLT says, “He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light.” The seasoned leaders I was talking to in my dream had become weary. We must shake off the weariness and heaviness. As God reveals new mysteries and revelations, they will empower us and accelerate us forward. We must stay in step with the Holy Spirit by partnering with Him. Jeremiah 12:5 NKJV says, “If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?”

Now is the time to put your shoes on and lace them up. The new generation apostolic voices that are emerging are carrying fresh vision and messages that need to be released in the earth. As we receive fresh visions and revelations from the heavenly realm, the Spirit of might will come upon us to be able to run with the horses. Some of you have taken your shoes off. For some of you as a prophetic act, you need to go out and buy new shoes. Last season’s shoes won’t do for where God is calling you to. Shoes prophetically represent identity, authority, territory, and releasing the Kingdom of God. It’s time to get ready to run with the Word Of the Lord. Write the vision. Make it plain. And run with the Spirit of God so the vision may be fulfilled!
