There have been many times in the past where I thought that God had forgotten about me. During those instances I had been in some seasons of my life where nothing seemed to be happening or going right.
These kinds of seasons some refer to as wildernesses others call them the dessert in the Spirit realm, but whatever the case, to me, it felt like I had been left behind or forgotten.
It was during those instances in my past where I began to seek the Lords face like never before, for answers as well as relief from these places. I felt like a Thirsty man looking for water to keep me alive in places where I really didn’t want to go or be in, but I was there anyway.
I would like to tell you that I found what I was searching for in just a few days or weeks, but it was often months of searching, stretching and seeking before I was able to discover what I needed to find.
During those times I not only realized that He had not forgotten about me, but I also discovered that when He says that, “I Will Never Leave You Or Forsake You,” He means it!
He doesn’t lie to us and He doesn’t abandon us, regardless of what we feel or experience!
In spite of those tough seasons of my life, looking back, I can now see His Faithfulness through them, though at the time I could not while I was in them.
“But Zion [Jerusalem, her people as seen in captivity] said, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.
[And the Lord answered] CAN A WOMAN FORGET HER NURSING CHILD, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, THEY MAY FORGET, YET I WILL NOT FORGET YOU.
Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands; [O Zion] your walls are continually before Me.” Isaiah 49:14-16
We are never out of His Hands or His View! Our lives are always before His eyes and even if we can’t see or hear for a season, His care and concern for our lives never stops!
“for He [God] Himself has said, I WILL NOT IN ANY WAY FAIL YOU NOR GIVE YOU UP NOR LEAVE YOU WITHOUT SUPPORT. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]” Hebrews 13:5b
He has sent the Holy Spirit to us as a Comforter and we are never snatched out of His grasp. No matter what situations or circumstances we may be facing.
If this morning you have found yourself in one of these places, I want you to know (Despite what you feel and see) He has not left you abandoned! You are surrounded by His Angels and the Presence of the Holy Spirit!
“The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and EACH OF THEM HE DELIVERS.” Psalms 34:7
Seek the Face of the Lord and Don’t Stop!!! Don’t stop till you’ve found what you’re looking for, received what you needed or got the answers you were searching out!!!
Everytime I was in one of these seasons, He has always met me, as I continued to press ahead! NEVER GIVE UP AND NEVER QUIT, JESUS WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE CROSS FOR YOU, HOW FAR ARE YOU WILLING TO GO FOR HIM?
