For weeks, I’ve heard in my Spirit the Lord saying that at the beginning of 2020, He is healing “dyslexia” in His emerging prophetic voices. I saw a spirit come against the young prophetic voices with false symptoms that resemble dyslexia in the natural. These symptoms cause prophetic voices to shut down as their vision and understanding get cloudy in a year where “vision” and “voice” have been prophetically decreed to take place. The Lord showed me that there are many who have felt something spiritual against their “sight,” and thus in discouragement have held back from using their voices because they cannot process what they see.
The year 2020 is a year of clarity and “20/20 vision,” but it is also the Hebrew year of the mouth. This next decade will prove that prophets will become clearer in vision and bolder and more accurate in what they speak. THIS is the promise of the Lord, and I felt His heart is to heal these dyslexia symptoms in the first few months of 2020.
I went straight to Google and looked up physical symptom of dyslexia in the natural, and this is what I found:
• Slow and labor-intensive reading and writing
• Mispronunciation of words
• Problems processing what the person sees or hears
• Inability to sound out the pronunciation of an unfamiliar word
• Understanding of what is seen takes time and extreme focus, thus meaning of the words are often lost
• Can be reading letters and numbers backwards or in a mixed-up order
Those who I personally know who have a medical diagnosis of dyslexia have all said that they have given up on reading at one stage or another because of the difficulty and frustration in trying. They have each expressed intense feelings of personal lack and inadequacy, and even avoidance of anything that must be properly read and processed.
The Lord began to speak to me about my own life, and the fact that either I have actually felt at least one – if not several at a time – of these things regarding not my natural sight but the prophetic! He then began to show me the many developing prophetic voices in the body of Christ who have had the same struggles and also the feelings of inadequacy and lack.
As I prayed into this, I saw so clearly the attempts of the enemy to SILENCE the people of God through these false dyslexia symptoms in the prophetic. Another thing that He showed me is the yearning of many young voices who want so badly to hear the voice of God and see clearly, yet they are afraid of the process that God is showing them to co-labor with Him in birthing what He actually wants to release through them. As they pull away from the process and begin to try to hear and see in their own strength, they actually open up a small crack for confusion and even comparison. I saw that as soon as that crack was opened, the symptoms of a false dyslexia began to show, and discouragement came to keep them silent. Many had forgotten that they are working WITH GOD to achieve what’s in His heart.
“For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.” – Colossians 1:29
The Lord reminded me that He invites the prophets into a deeper friendship with Him than imaginable. He wants to share His secrets (Jeremiah 33:3) and have the prophets partake of His heart. He desires to give influence over nations (see Joseph’s journey in Genesis 41:41), and He has created prophets to have a tongue like a sharp sword (Isaiah 49:2). More than anything, God LONGS for intimacy with His beloved!
As He calls the prophets up higher and we accept His invitation, our sight will begin to align back to His. Up high, we will begin to see His purposes and the destiny of nations and peoples far and wide, and we will have the ability to see clearly the “change in the air” for others.
“Can you not discern this new day of destiny
breaking forth around you?
The early signs of my purposes and plans
are bursting forth.
The budding vines of new life
are now blooming everywhere.
The fragrance of their flowers whispers,
“There is change in the air.”

In speaking with the Father about this revelation, I began to see more clearly than ever that there is a war waging against the promises of God over His people, and especially over the prophetic voices are who are the ones called to release HOPE and RESURRECTION LIFE to both their own promises as well as those of the Body. The very ones the Lord wants to use to serve His Bride by bringing words of life, inspiring breakthrough and imparting hope are the very ones that feel the symptoms of this false dyslexia. The devil wants to keep them silent and shut down, unable to see and process clearly.
But I felt the Lord say that as we go higher up into intimacy with Him and trust His processes both in the birthing of prophetic words as well as in our lives, He will meet us and He will birth His words in us to be able to release them through us.
“There’s a private place reserved for the lovers of God,
where they sit near him and receive
the revelation-secrets of his promises.”

Finally, the Lord also showed me the significance of the year 2020 for someone with any form of dyslexia. 2020, or twenty-twenty… there’s no reading things backwards or swapping numbers around. Dyslexic symptoms, be broken OFF the emerging prophetic voices, in Jesus Name! I decree that this IS the year to see, hear and speak clearly the heart of the Father to the nations!
