Heaven’s change of address
The Spirit of Elijah – Preparing the Way of the Lord!
I felt Holy Spirit’s encouragement to get a change of address form from my local post office and fill it out for Heaven’s new address. I felt the urgency of God’s heart in the matter. Many times we separate in our minds where Heaven really exists. We picture Heaven in a galaxy far far away and we are some micro blip on the radar of God. We believe that when Christ Jesus said in John 14:3 (NASV), “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also,” it was a trillion miles away.
My spirit was moved by what I thought was an insignificant point of view. For what is approaching, it is definitely not insignificant. I heard Jesus say, “Could you imagine heaven at your fingertips? Do you recognize that where you and I are is where heaven is? The place I’ve prepared, what you call heaven, is here with you!” The understanding of this transition from seeing heaven as far off to being within us takes an adjustment. Are you willing to change your mindset?
I asked, “What does this change of address look like?” The sound of a voice calling “Prepare the way of the Lord!” began echoing inside of my spirit!
“A voice is calling, ‘Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley; then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.’” Isaiah 40:3-5 (NASB)
This refers to John the Baptist (see Matt 3:1-3), who walked in the spirit and power of Elijah, according to Luke 1:15, to “make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” The spirit of Elijah has returned and those with the voice of the Lion of Judah are to roar out and herald the arrival of the 2020 John the Baptists. The wild places which are so desperate for a revelation of the Lord are about to see His face and His Glory! A processional of God’s glory and goodness has begun to be paraded like we’ve never seen before. Those areas and people which the church have labeled “Off Limits” are now being visited. The truth is being released in these people that they are the desire of God’s heart.
“Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the LORD of hosts. But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire, like a launderer’s soap.” Malachi 3:1-2 (NASB)
A company of pioneers have already been chosen and called out by the Spirit of the Lord from without and from within these communities, these wild places. Many are seeking the Lord and our eyes have been blind to them. “These 2020 John the Baptist’s don’t look like us” will be heard in whispers as they march out in passionate love for the unknown wildernesses.
The style of cleansing that is being done by the compassionate hand of the Lord will carry the gentleness which will define Him like never before. Their voice and the rhythm of these ”New Baptist’s” steps are the footfalls of doom upon the enemy’s strongholds. They will place their feet upon the throats of the enemy victoriously in the power of Elijah! A new season has arrived with a new seasoning of salt which will be savory to those who have tasted past offerings from the Body of Christ.
The Mouth of the Lord is singing this, not just speaking this decree. A melody released from His very heart is, even now, being heard in the air. Can you hear it? Will you sing it with me? Prepare the way of the Lord! Heaven’s new address has been determined and promised. The arrival is imminent! Heaven on Earth has been established! Hallelujah!
