Hidden Gems – A Word By Colby Smith
The Lord begin to speak to me this morning about Hidden Gems. I saw a vision within my Spirit, and in this vision was a woman in a room full of people. It seemed to be a conference. As the woman stood there, she gazed at the speaker with intent, as with awe. As the speaker began to pray for people, the woman got in line to get prayer. The woman kept saying “if this speaker prays for me, I will be blessed! If only I can get this one to pray for me, God will bless my life!” This line was really long, but as she waited, I saw a man walk up to her. This man had no fancy suit, his shoes had holes in them, and ripped jeans. The man began to speak to her “ The Lord has sent me here to bless you.” The woman brushed him off, still staring at the speaker. She said “ no thanks, I’m okay. The Lord is going to bless me after I get prayer from the speaker.”
She finally made it to the speaker and got prayer but nothing changed. The woman began to speak to God and said “ Lord, you told me to come here! You said I would receive a blessing! Nothing changed!” The Lord spoke to her and said “ I did send my blessing to you, but you rejected it. I do not see as man sees. My hidden Gem was in the man you brushed away, because your eyes was fixed on what man could give you, and not what I had sent. Keep your eyes upon me and you will see the hidden gems I bring within your life.”
May we keep the eyes of our heart upon the Lord, so that we may see the treasures all around us, in the people that surround us each day. Hidden Gems are there.
The Lord sees you my friend, and you are precious to His sight. He sought you out, because you are His Hidden Gem.
