Hope For The Weary Soul- A Word by Taran Schilg

“So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the
universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced
that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels,
or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or
future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above
us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that
can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us
through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!”

Romans 8:38-39

The year 2016 was the year of plenty for me and my family. Several things
started to come to fruition. God had sent me a publisher for the book he
promised to publish, and after walking a pretty lonely road for nearly ten
years the Lord blessed me with leading a prophetic company of mighty women
of God. I began building new relationships. The Lord had also answered my
five-year long prayer to move to a house in the country and giving us a
wonderful testimony of his goodness along the way. God had certainly
revealed His faithfulness to us in that year! I thought this was it, the
big shift in our lives we have been waiting for, and that things were going
to start flowing in a constant positive direction. I was believing to fully
walk and live in the promise land when suddenly I realized I had entered a
new wilderness season. December of 2016 my family was attacked with illness
after illness lasting up until March. Publishing my book was taking longer
than I had desired and I had several relational issues arise. Yes, my
family had many blessings much to be thankful for, but in the midst of the
blessings I began to get weary. My focus shifted from the blessings to the
overwhelming disappointments and issues that surrounded me. I kept thinking
what have I done? Where did I go wrong? There were times where I desired to
give up, but then suddenly God would bring me a small ray of hope leading
me to the next breadcrumb on what seemed this dark dim path.

The year 2017 wasn’t much different and going into 2018 things seem to
brighten up a bit but this year has still had its obstacles. Leading into
to the year 2019 and reflecting on this time I have realized a few things
about this wilderness experience. I have learned to love people when it is
difficult to do so, learning to not be disappointed when things don’t turn
out the way I thought they would, and learning to give continual grace and
mercy to those who unknowingly hurt me. The Lord has used these last few
years to make me stronger and I have realized in the midst of these trials
that God is good. He has never stopped being good and he will never stop
being good. He is also faithful and will be there for me even when I can’t
feel him, even when life gets hard. I have also learned that if I didn’t
walk through some of these things, learning to persevere in the midst of
the weariness, I would not be as strong as I am today. I have learned to
only receive validation from the Lord, and not from others. I have learned
to love others even when they have not loved me back and to keep pursuing
love towards them because that is who Jesus is for me. The Lord told me
last year “If you can’t love the brother or sister in Christ who has
wounded you how will you ever love the terrorist with a gun to your head.”

Love like this doesn’t come from within ourselves it can only be gained
through the love of Jesus Christ knowing that He loves us so much he died
for us and he would do it again. When we feel like we have become so weary
with nothing more to give we must go the God and receive His love for us
not be disappointed when we don’t receive it from others. When life gets
hard we must get in the word and read what God says about us knowing that
He has us in the palm of his hand even when it doesn’t feel like it. God is
our provider he provides our every need. He provides comfort, peace, love,
relationship, finances and so much more!

What do you need God to provide for you with today? Have you been weary in
doing good? Have you sown and sown and not seen the harvest? I want to
encourage you this day to go to Jesus and receive from him whatever it is
you are in need from him today. Ask him for a ray of hope to enter into
your life to know that he sees you and he’s got you. He will provide for
you because that’s who he is. He has an answer to every problem, a solution
to every challenge, and he wants to fill you up this day. Sit in His
presence thanking him for your blessings, even if it’s the last thing you
want to do. Allow His word to be a revelation to you in the midst of the
storm. He will come through for you! He will never leave you nor forsake
you it’s impossible for him to do so, He can’t go against himself! Let
God’s love flow over you this day and seep into every crack and every
crevice that might be untouched.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never
leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Deuteronomy 31:8

A word by Dana Jarvis

I decree you are making the spiritual journey from the bondage of Egypt into your promised land of destiny. I know you have grown weary. Do not let the murmurings and complaining attitudes rule you. It causes the faith to waiver! Your focus is upon the cup of bitter waters that you are currently drinking from.

Rest assured that your God is making these bitter waters sweet!

You shall taste and see that the Lord is good! You are going to see such extravagance in your daily life. He is delivering much into your hands so reach up and take hold. Just as he was with you before, he is with you now. You are going to drink deep of the Living Waters. The bitter waters of life have tried to steal all joy.

However I hear the Lord say, “It is done, I am the Lord who heals you. I am the Lord who will restore you. I am the Lord who will provide your every need. I am the One that is making the bitter waters sweet!”

I feel so strongly that God is removing your cup of bitter waters you have had to drink for so long. He is causing a turnaround for you in a situation that you desperately need him to move. I am speaking to several and know this word is for you. Even as the Lord led Moses and the children of Israel from their bondage at the Red Sea, it still took one step of faith. One step of faith is all it takes to cause a release from all of this. Take a moment and sow into good ground by giving into Spirit Fuel. For just a contribution of $25, $50, or even $100 or more given into Spirit Fuel is an active step and good ground on which to sow. It is a powerful ministry reaching the world for Christ. As you sow that offering, it is that act of faith that will cause the Red Sea where you are standing to part in your life. The bitter cup will be removed and the sweetness of the Lord shall begin to flow!
