“I AM able to perform it”

A Word by Janet Lynn Garcia

For the last year or so, I have been part of our flag worship team during our services. While in worship, I receive prophetic visions and words from the Lord.

These past several weeks my family and I have suffered from a unexpected attack of the enemy he came in and almost took everything from us. However, when the enemy came in one way the Sovereign right hand of God conquered my spiritual enemies seven ways, Deuteronomy 28:7 NLT [7] “The LORD will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven! I was reminded over and over again. I am in covenant with the Almighty God. I dwell in His secret place and He is for me and not against me.”

The family unit is in such a place but the Lord encouraged me, “I chastened those I love.” I love the Lord’s word in this time of excruciating pain but when I am weak He makes me stronger in faith! I’m sure we can get to begging in these end times but the Lord continues to encourage, 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NLT [8] “Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away.” [9] “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness. So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”

If you are licking some of your wounds from this attack be encouraged! The battle is over because He is bringing you and your family into unity. He is revealing hearts and know you will no longer be playing clanging symbols, 1 Corinthians 13:1 NLT [1] “If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.”

Ephesians 1:10-11 NLT [10] “And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ-everything in heaven and on earth.” [11] “Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.”

The Lord has given us a powerful word to put the enemy in His place. There is no issue, circumstance or problem the Word of God can’t take care of. It is like dropping a bomb over the enemy when you use it by faith. We live just three hours south of Washington D.C. and we receive what I call bipolar weather. We have up and down temperatures all the time. We had a small rain, snow shower come which didn’t cover the ground completely. People were buying sleds for their children at the store and stocking up on supplies but there wasn’t enough snow that came in. We don’t get much yearly in our area.

However, the Lord spoke during our worship services and said, “Though you just saw snow and now it’s gone I AM able to perform my word,” Isaiah 55:10-11 NLT

[10] “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth.” They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. [11] “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”

He said, “Have you declared my Word?” and I said, “yes, Lord”. “Then I AM able to perform it.

The great I AM is able to perform the Word all I want it to and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

I looked up the extra verse afterwards that confirms I am able to perform it and I was led to Romans 4 for a confirmation, Romans 4:20-22 NLT [20] “Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.” [21] “He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.” [22] “And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous.”

When you receive His Word then He will use it. Every promise to us is “yes and amen”. Yet, I was so encouraged by the Lord to work His Word and know it will increase your faith if you believe without wavering. It will strengthen you and it will bring God glory!!!! He is able to do what ever He promises.

Now declare, Father in the name of Jesus. I run to your Word and remember the promises of your Word it is strength to me and I will stand and not waiver and wait for you to perform your Word! You are the great I AM!
Your Word reminds me in Ephesians 3:20-21 NLT [20] “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” [21] “Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.”
