file000910792962“The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, 19 and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” (Luke 4:18-19, NLT)

I heard the Lord speak this very clearly to me, and at first I thought sight and vision were exactly the same. Take a look at the definition of the two, they are very similar but yet have a distinct difference.

Vision: the act or power of sensing with the eyes; sight. 2. the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be: prophetic vision; the vision of an entrepreneur. 3. an experience in which a personage, thing, or event appears vividly or credibly to the mind, although not actually present, often under the influence of a divine or other agency

Sight: the power or faculty of seeing; perception of objects by use of the eyes; vision. 2. an act, fact, or instance of seeing. 3. one’s range of vision on some specific occasion: Land is in sight. 4. a view; glimpse.

As you can see there are some similarities but here’s was stood out to me as I was beginning to understand what it was the Lord wanted me to write for today. Vision is something you are sensing, something you are anticipating, a prophetic vision. Sight is when you are actually seeing it happen, it’s a fact. That which you had envisioned is now happening before your eyes.

I believe what God is speaking is that He is restoring your sight to see your vision become reality. Some of you have not only lost your sight to see reality, you’ve lost sight to see your vision. I’ve mentioned this a few times in the past few weeks but many are in that time of transition. I hear many say they know there is a next step but they have no clue what the next step is or even how to get to it. Because of this and events that have led up to this time, many have lost hope and completely given up on the vision they once had. God is now restoring your sight, so you can see your vision again and that which you have had a vision about you’re going to begin to see it become reality.

Jesus came to restore sight to the blind, both physically and spiritually, and that hasn’t changed. It’s time to start seeing again. It’s time to not just have a vision of your future, it’s time to see you vision as reality. God is restoring sight for your vision. Get ready to start dreaming again, start believing again, and start preparing yourself to see your vision move from something that you anticipate to reality.
