I Am Your Shepherd – A Word by Aretha Cross

The Lords says, “I am Your Shepherd and I will order your steps. I will not steer you in the wrong direction. Follow My voice, and tune out all the other distracting voices. My sheep hear My voice, and they are able to discern the voice of the stranger. It is imperative that My children hear Me during this critical season. My whispers are life saving, and My directives are the very blue prints which precede the possession of your promised land. Now is not the time to waver or second guess My instructions. Do not base your decisions on man’s opinions or majority actions. Man’s wisdom is foolishness to Me. Stay tuned into Me, and I will continually light your path. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it (Matthew 7:14).
Be the Two, and not the Ten
I have assignments for you, and I need you to stay plugged into My Word, abide in Me, and move to the rhythm of My voice. Covid is not an impedance to My plans for you. I am not surprised, nor am I moved by Covid. I allowed the “shut in” of My children, just as I shut Noah and his family in the ark, to protect them. Noah wasn’t allowed to come out of the ark until I gave him the green light to do so. The ark was representative of his protection. You must stay in the ark until I release you, because it is for your protection. While in the ark, (during this season), you are kept under the shadow of My wings, and you should keep focused on My assignments. The dreams and visions I’ve given you are for such a time as this. Don’t allow fear to stagnate you. Don’t be like the ten spies who didn’t possess their promised land because they allowed fear to stifle them. I have created you to be like Joshua and Caleb. They were able to see beyond the giants. They knew they would overcome (Numbers 13:30), and so, you too must know that I’ve already given you the land. You have been equipped to overcome every obstacle before you.
Restoration
Take up your sword (My Word) and slay every Goliath in your way. Take back everything the enemy has stolen…your dreams, your hopes, your faith, your joy, your health, your peace, your family, your children, your marriage, your finances, and your destiny. Leave no stone unturned, because you’ve been granted the victory. I tell you, this is not a set-back season for My children. It’s a set-up for their step-up into My promises fulfilled. I will restore what the locusts have stolen. (Joel 2:25)
Season of Miracles
Your praise is your weapon. Begin to praise Me, and watch the walls come tumbling down. The walls of infirmity, the walls of lack, the walls of debt, the walls of fear and any other obstacles. I will burst forth with miracles, signs and wonders like never before in the midst of your praise. Use your mouth and praise your way out of the obstacle course perpetrated by the adversary to defeat you. Speak to the dry bones, and command them to live!”
Isaiah 30:21 “You will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way. Follow it, whether it turns to the right or to the left.’”
Acts 2:17 “And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all people; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.”
Ezekiel 37:4 “Then He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.”
Psalm 23 “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Joshua 6:20 “So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.”
