I Have Come….for Your Words
This morning I was researching for a book I am working on when I came across a familiar scripture. It is found in Daniel 10:12; “Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.”
The Amplified version says it like this; “I have come in response to your words.”
As I read those words I began to think….if God came today or sent an angel today for MY words…what would he find?
Let me go back a few weeks. Several weeks ago I had a dream about Breanne and I. We were driving a vehicle through very rough waters. Suddenly a huge wave was before us, one I thought would take us out – however, it picked us up and caused us to ride upon the high places and in a smooth place. I felt the dream was a warning.
And it was.
For the past few weeks, she and I have faced challenge after challenge. Each time we face a new challenge, I am reminded of this dream. I know if I can hold steady that we will arise out of these challenges. For much of the time I have been silent. I know the power of words and most of the time I have refused to say anything that doesn’t line up with the word of God, yet, truthfully I have had a couple bad days when I vented my frustration.
It is better to be quiet than to say things that do not line up with the word of God? But, if God came for my words, what words would he find? And if he found no words…. What then?
I am thankful to say that a few days ago after a particularly hard challenge, I began to quote a scripture God gave me years ago – He called it my ‘life’ scripture.
It is found in Psalm 27:13, it says; “I would have lost heart, or fainted, if I had not believed I would see the goodness of God in the land of the living.”
I began declaring ‘I will not faint or lose heart for I know I will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.’ I went to sleep declaring that scripture and I woke up quoting that scripture. I did that for a few days, until I was ready to press through this time of resistance.

This morning I read a short word from Marsha Burns, it was timely and profound and it blessed me. Let me share it with you…
“You have been presented with certain unexpected challenges, which have resulted in a setback. However, this too shall pass. You have not gotten off course, nor has your spiritual focus changed. You will soon fall into a rhythm with a comfortable stride, says the Lord. Just keep pressing through and refuse to get discouraged.”
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Today, I wanted to share this with you and ask you to take a moment and think about your words – if God came for your words today, what would he find?
Luke 18:1-8 says; “Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart, saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and had no respect for man. There was a [desperate] widow in that city and she kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice and legal protection from my adversary.’ For a time he would not; but later he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will give her justice and legal protection; otherwise [a]by continually coming she [will be an intolerable annoyance and she] will wear me out.’” Then the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says! And will not [our just] God defend and avenge His elect [His chosen ones] who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay [in providing justice] on their behalf? I tell you that He will defend and avenge them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [this kind of persistent] faith on the earth?” (Amplified)
In this parable, Jesus is talking about the woman who would not shut up. She refused to cease declaring ‘Give me justice and protection from my adversary!’ Jesus is talking about this kind of faith, the faith that refuses to stop declaring His word. The faith that refuses to stop saying what the word of God says…the unjust judge gave her what she demanded because of her words…even though the judge gave her great resistance….because of her words she got exactly what she wanted.
In Daniel, when he prayed, great resistance followed, however, because of his words, help arrived and his prayer was answered. The woman with the unjust judge had great resistance but because of her words, her request was granted.
Friends, it is the same for us today – prayers will be answered, help will come because of our words. If God came today to you – what words would he find? Let him find faith, the same faith the woman with the unjust judge possessed….let him find that faith in your words.
A WORD FOR YOU TODAY!
A word by Joel Yount:
Several years ago while walking at a park an Eagle had flown right over me carrying what looked like a dead snake. The one thing that amazed me was how low the Eagle was flying as it flew above me. It was as if God was highlighting this occurrence that I had never experienced before.
Before seeing the Eagle and the snake, I had been walking around the park praying and declaring scriptures for breakthrough regarding a situation. Leading up to this time, it seemed as if there was an escalated season of attack from the enemy as someone had attempted to shut the Spirit Fuel website down. However, God stepped in and the individual responsible for that attempt did not succeed. Praise God!
Pay Attention To Signs God Reveals To You
God had stepped in many ways in only he could do. The escalated attacks had ceased. The Lord revealed to me that the Eagle had represented His power and protection coming down and taking the enemy (the snake) out of his place.
The Lord instructed me to send this testimony out today because He wants to remind many of you that nothing is hard for Him. He will send signs in the natural that relate to what is going on in the supernatural.
The prayers and declarations of saying scripture out loud at the park had activated something in the Spirit realm I believe. One important action I had taken before this event was sowing several seeds into different ministries. This act stretched my faith. When I saw what God did and how he turned the enemy’s plans upside down I was amazed. God is turning the enemy’s plans upside down in your own life today! Do something in the natural to activate the supernatural in your life today.
Right now I encourage you to sow a seed of $50, $25, $100, or $500 into Spirit Fuel and name it “Breakthrough” as an act of faith. By sowing a seed today into Spirit Fuel, you will be helping to reach more people on the internet for the Kingdom of God. It takes a dedicated team and resources to maintain the Spirit Fuel platform.
