“I Want to Encourage You,” Says the Lord – by Jamie Rohrbaugh

“I have something to say to you,” the Lord says to you today. “I want to encourage you because I know you have been going through a hard time.”
He continued:
“Your faith has made you well in more ways than you can count. But I am continuing to take you from glory to glory, strength to strength, and even love to love. I am teaching you how to love Me and others BETTER than you have ever loved us before.
I am teaching you discipline as well; teaching you to discipline yourself; to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit of self-control more than you were able to do before.
In the past, your flesh has gotten in the way. I want you to be aware of the fact that in your flesh dwells no good thing (Romans 7:18). Therefore, like the apostle Paul, the more you buffet your body and bring it into subjection to Me, the more fruit and success you will have in the world.
I want to encourage you today because you have just learned that I am with you.
People in the past have been absent and have abandoned you, but I am with you and would never leave you nor forsake you. I could not; you have my heart!
The fullness of My love is for you, and I am with you both by virtue of My ever-present nature AND because I could never leave you even if My nature permitted it (which it does not)! The entirety of My heart is for you.
I love you with an everlasting love, and with great mercies I have borne you in My arms and carried you all the days of your life.
I also want to encourage you because you are learning that I am FAITHFUL.
My faithfulness knows no bounds. You think you have messed things up, but in reality you have only drawn on your heavenly bank account, which is guaranteed by My Word. I am proud of you for doing that! And I will be faithful to you this month and next month and the month after that, just like I have always been faithful to you.
I love you so much, My child. Be encouraged today that I am the rest you need; I am the fruit you need; I am the provision you need; I am your peace. I am your Light in the storm; I will bring you into safe harbor.
You are My child. I created you and fashioned you.
You can step out into the deep with Me, but I am bigger than the deep and I will always sustain you. You may push Me with your faith, but I will be bigger than any push.
As long as you stay within the boundaries and confines of My Word, you will have total freedom. I am hedging you in behind and before, and laying My hand upon you; by My doing so, I am keeping you safe while I lead you and guide you.
You do not really get it yet, but you will.
You understand My Word, so focus on that. Focus on My faithfulness. You do not really understand that vastness of My character and nature yet; that is the study of an eternity.
Yet, every day you get closer to Me. Every day looks different, but I am taking you on this great adventure into My heart.
Be content to know Me, but long to know more of Me.
Ask Me to help you know more of Me than you did yesterday, and I will. Pray to know Me as My Son Jesus knows Me, and I will help you.
Remember that you are hidden in Christ Jesus, so you can know what He knows and have what He has. And what He has is Me, and all that is Mine.
Thank you, My beloved child, for trusting in Me.
Thank you, My darling, for obeying Me when things seem dark. Know that I am truly your Light, and there is no darkness in Me at all.
Be at peace, for I have overcome the world. I will never leave you nor forsake you.
I cannot say this enough, for you do not truly know it yet. It is true nonetheless. I am with you to comfort you, and I am with you to keep you. I will bring your weary soul into the rest you crave, for I AM your Rest.
