“If You Build the Bridges, I’ll Build the Wall” – A joint word from Wanda Alger & Bill Yount
These are the exact words the Lord spoke to Bill Yount on February 7, 2017. When he called me the same day to share this word, we immediately knew what the Holy Spirit was referencing. Even as many in the nation are troubled about a proposed physical wall on our southern borders, so the Lord is asking us to look at a more important wall – His supernatural wall of protection over His people and this country. He is saying that if we do our part in building the needed relational bridges with each other, He will do His part in building a supernatural wall of protection around us as His people. Knowing that our Adversary, the Devil, is seeking to do us harm, the Lord is offering a wall of heavenly protection that no spiritual opposition will ever be able to penetrate.
Bill and I had just met the day before with two other ministers preparing for an upcoming conference. The focus is on pastors, prophets, and intercessors building bridges so that the body of Christ can be fully healed, restored, and functioning at full capacity (“Pastors, Prophets, and Intercessors: Bridging the Gap”). The Lord had been placing on us an increased burden for the many local leaders, five-fold ministers, and prophetic intercessors that have been sidelined because of broken and wounded relationships.
Even during our prayer time, the Lord reminded Bill of a prophetic word he posted on The Elijah List ten years ago (“Angels Are Descending to Inspect Spiritual Bridges throughout the Body of Christ”). It wasn’t until Bill began to pray some of the exact phrases, that he remembered portions of this word:
I sense many are now traveling down a broken road because of a broken bridge in their lives. In times of war, if the enemy wants to paralyze a nation, he will target the bridges that connect the people in that nation to one another. Once disconnected, they have little power to resist the onslaught of their enemy.
I saw many “relationships” representing “bridges” throughout the body of Christ deteriorating and on the verge of collapsing! I saw some relationships representing bridges that were connecting the Body of Christ together, but had failed to be maintained over the years and now were on the verge of collapsing. The collapsing of these bridges would mean that many of us would be unable to cross over into our Kingdom purpose and destiny without these certain relationships being renewed, restored, and strengthened.
The relationships we once thought we could go on without were now appearing before us as our “only” bridge to cross over into our inheritance! As I saw this, I sensed within me a proverb in the land stating, ‘I am not going anywhere without you and you are not going anywhere without me.’ Whether we liked each other or not, our opposing attitudes began to fade as we saw by revelation, ‘These bridges must be restored and updated!’”
Bill and I are both testaments to this word, not only in our individual journeys of healing and restoration in the church, but in the tangible increased anointing we are experiencing as a result of our kingdom partnerships. We see this same increase coming to the body of Christ – a tangible increase of anointing and authority of the Lord to accomplish God-sized breakthroughs we could never accomplish on our own.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! … for there the LORD commands blessing and eternal life.” (Psalm 133:1,3 Jubilee Bible 2000)
Whether it’s attending to burnt bridges, broken bridges, or bridges in disrepair from lack of use, God is calling believers to connect with each other once again. This is not simply about forgiveness, but about reconciliation, restoration, and healthy relationships. In order for God to fully restore “all things” (Ephesians 1:9-10, Colossians 1:19-20), He must begin with us. As we yield to His promptings He will direct our paths to those relationships which are both beneficial and necessary in order for us to cross over to our full inheritance.
As these bridges are built and established, trust will be restored and the foundations will be strengthened to handle the coming weight of His glory.
Trust has been broken because of burnt and broken bridges and God is telling us that this trust must not only be restored, but strengthened for the days ahead. The journey through this past election was an example of what God can do when people agree in prayer and choose to come together for a greater purpose than themselves. It is this kind of corporate agreement and unity that will attract heaven’s attention.
“If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me…I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you,” declares the LORD. “I will save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel.” (Jeremiah 15:19-16:1 NIV)
Regardless of any physical wall being erected, it is clear that until we have God’s divine wall of safety and protection around us, we will be open to the onslaught of our enemies, both natural and spiritual. We must get connected to each other in order to strengthen and support what God wants to do. May His rallying cry resound among the households of faith and in communities across the nation, “If you build the bridges, I’ll build the wall!”
“And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will be its glory within.” (Zechariah 2:5 NIV)

A Word For You
by Joel Yount
The Eagle And The Snake
A year ago while walking at a park an Eagle had flown right over me carrying what looked like a dead snake. The one thing that amazed me was how low the Eagle was flying as it flew above me. It was as if God was highlighting this occurrence that I had never experienced before.
Before seeing the Eagle and the snake, I had been walking around the park praying and declaring scriptures for breakthrough regarding a situation. Leading up to this time, it seemed as if there was an escalated season of attack from the enemy as someone had attempted to shut the Spirit Fuel website down. However, God stepped in and the individual responsible for that attempt did not succeed. Praise God!
Pay Attention To Signs God Reveals To You
God had stepped in many ways in only he could do. The escalated attacks had ceased. The Lord revealed to me that the Eagle had represented His power and protection coming down and taking the enemy (the snake) out of his place.
The Lord instructed me to send this testimony out today because He wants to remind many of you that nothing is hard for Him. He will send signs in the natural that relate to what is going on in the supernatural.
The prayers and declarations of saying scripture out loud at the park had activated something in the Spirit realm I believe. One important action I had taken before this event was sowing several seeds into different ministries. This act stretched my faith. When I saw what God did and how he turned the enemy’s plans upside down I was amazed. God is turning the enemy’s plans upside down in your own life today! Do something in the natural to activate the supernatural in your life today.
Right now I encourage you to sow a seed of $50, $35, or $25 into Spirit Fuel and name it “Breakthrough” as an act of faith that something will shift in your situation. By sowing a seed today into Spirit Fuel, you will be helping to reach more people on the internet for the Kingdom of God. It takes a dedicated team and resources to maintain the Spirit Fuel platform. I want to encourage 15 of you reading right now who want to go to the next level and take a step of faith and sow a seed of $100 or more. (Breakthrough testimonies have come in from this.) To give by phone call 1-844-274-4720.
