The wilderness is a place of testing, of shaking, and it’s also a place where your heart can become hard. You can easily become bitter and lose hope, because your promise hasn’t come to pass. You’ve felt the testing of your own faith. You’ve questioned is God in my wilderness? Maybe you’ve felt like you have been wandering in the wilderness, circling your promise but not obtaining. Many times our destiny is on the other side of the the wilderness. God never intended us to stay in the wilderness, but some do get trapped there.

Many times when we are given an assignment from the Lord, we can feel the weight of it. Others may not understand, or honor you for it. I can promise you this, we will all have seasons of testing. That’s when you find out what you are standing on. When you do step into your assignment, others will follow you and others will target you. The anointing on your life will shine but others will see you as a threat. This is why Prophets have caves. The hurt, anger and bitterness will try to attach itself to you. Sometimes it’s just wounds that others have never been healed of, or past offenses from others they have not forgiven. Don’t misplace their bitterness for yours. Always love, always walk in forgiveness, always be hopeful for others to step into freedom!

Guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23)
Anchor your hope in the Lord (Hebrews 6:19)
Run with the vision (Habakkuk 2:2)
Be quick to forgive (Col 3:13)

I prophesy to that you are coming out of the confusion, the hurt, and the pain. You are coming out of the wilderness, the cave of hiddenness, because God has an assignment for you!
