It’s Time to Bloom – A Word Alice Garza

In our present-day culture, commitment in relationships of all types is faulty. The church should lead by example in the way we relate to one another. However, I have observed people bouncing around so much from church to church or ministry to ministry that the seeds they carry inside of them are never given enough time to be planted and to grow. Just as they are about to dig in and see God position them, they leave and go somewhere else. The enemy effectively tosses people to and fro, sometimes keeping them from staying long enough to see real growth within themselves and their calling. I believe that the Lord is breaking patterns of the past right now to make us ready to embrace the new ones, changing our old patterns to His new ones.
Perseverance

Growth has to do with allowing God to mature us. He wants us to work through areas where we have given up in the past too quickly and persevere in the place Holy Spirit has positioned us. He sets us in soil that has the right balance of nutrients to bring us to maturity so that we can, not only bloom, but sustain healthy growth. We should be led of Holy Spirit and not out of offense or wounds. God does not change his mind; only people do.

Derailed

If you take a train off its track, it can no longer move forward, but as soon as it is back on track again, it will begin to move forward with rapid acceleration. When things begin to move so fast in the spirit for you, you will become overwhelmed with the goodness of God!

Seeds

Recently, the Lord has been speaking loudly to me regarding flowers. One night while in prayer, I began to see lots and lots of seeds and the ground opening up to receive the seeds. It was so supernatural how the ground was ready at the same time as the seeds where ready to be planted. It happened so quickly! Flowers of many different colors bloomed so rapidly that it looked like popcorn popping. One seed bloomed, then another, quickly, quickly, blowing, and blooming.

“Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.”  (Song of Songs 2:13)
God is asking His bride to be planted this season so they can begin to experience real growth. We must commit to stay where He has planted us and commit to endure until we have developed the maturity needed to blossom into a healthy and mature follower of Christ.
