Jesus said “It is Finished”, but it Wasn’t the End!
When Jesus died on the cross He said “it is finished”, but it wasn’t the end! Instead it was a new beginning of His life through resurrection power 3 days later! Jesus’ ministry on the cross was finished, but His ministry to give us eternal life over death and the grave had started. Death was not the end, only the beginning.
John 11:24-27 (NIV) Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
Despite the struggles and hardships we face in life, it aint over till God says it’s over! We all go through seasons. Sometimes the struggles seem like they will never end, but eventually they do get better. Be encouraged, stand firm, and increase your faith.
2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (NIV) For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Storms never last forever and always remember that even in the worst of stormy weather, there’s always a bright sun that is above those dark clouds just waiting to pierce the darkness!

Malachi 4:2-3 (NIV) But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty.
Luke 8:23-25 (NKJV) But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”
