Lavished by God: Showers of Blessings Being Poured Out
This morning God gave me a vision of buckets that were lined up on top of a rafter. Each bucket had a rope tied to it and each bucket represented and was filled with a blessing from God. Blessings like healing, deliverance, prosperity, restoration, etc. People were lined up and one by one they would pull on the ropes and the buckets would pour out a shower of God’s blessings. With each outpouring of the bucket, the blessings were filled back up for the next person. There was an unlimited supply of God’s blessings that was being poured out.
God has been speaking to me a lot lately about increase and abundance. My family and I have been declaring the word “expansion!” In this season God wants his people to dream big and believe big because we serve a big, big God.
Ephesians 1:4-5 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.
God loves us so much we are His pleasure; it was His will to create us. He takes delight in His children. We should never be ashamed of our heavenly Father. He has poured out His abundant love for us, how much more should we love Him too. Jesus loved us so much that when He died on the cross the veil was rent in two, the veil that separated man from God, the piece of woven fabric that for too long kept man from getting closer to God. Now we can enter in to the holy of holies with boldness! Without fear of God saying “get out of my face and go play outside”. Instead God says “welcome my children; enter in to my throne room. Sit at my table and dine with me for a while.”
Psalm 23:5-6 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Overflow represents abundance. When God pours out His blessings on us, our cup overflows and runs over. In the natural we would consider anything spilled over as “wasted resources.” But when God’s blessings overflows it’s not “waste”, it’s not the “leftovers”. What is running over is being spilled over, representing His increase and abundance a never ending supply of God’s goodness!
Joel 2:23-24 Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you—
The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

Ephesians 1:7-10 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
I love verse 7 – “in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.”
Whether we like to admit it or not, we like to be pampered, we like to be spoiled. God has lavished us with an abundance of His mercy and grace! The dictionary says to “Lavish” is “to give or bestow in abundance, to shower”. So imagine being showered with God’s grace. The word “lavish” also use to be referred to as “downpour” in the Old French language.
In 2005 I was at a conference in CA. At the service one night the guest speaker prayed for me and spoke “abundance” over me. I was lying on the floor and God gave me a vision of sapphires that He was showering me with. The most beautiful blue sapphires that I’ve ever seen were being poured out over me. And after that in the vision God took a huge barrel that was full of liquid gold and He dumped the gold over me. I was being showered with sapphires and liquid gold! I was overwhelmed that night that God loved me that much that He would lavish me which such treasures.
Isn’t that exciting knowing that God loves us that much that He wants to lavish and spoil us with His blessings. That He wants to shower us with His gifts and treasures. That God considers us worthy to receive all that He has for us.
In Ephesians 1:9 we read that it is God’s “good pleasure to make known the mystery of His will.” Isn’t it wonderful to serve a God that takes delight in us, we were created for His good pleasure. He wants to make all things known to us because of His good pleasure.
Since God wants to lavish us, we should lavish Him back with our love for Him!
Psalm 63:1-2 “O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land, where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.”
There’s a never ending flow of God’s glory as He lavishes us, so we should also lavish Him back, and then He will lavish us even more. An abundance of His grace to shower us. We should shower Him with our love too. Singing abundant praise of how good our God is! Declaring His goodness to everyone we see.
I pray as you have read this prophetic word that you will experience the abundance and increase of God’s outpouring, that you too will feel spoiled and pampered by the goodness of God. All you have to do is simply receive. Call on God, reach out to Him, and pull down the blessings that He is pouring out on you. Declare “expansion” over your life! Ask God to expand the vision that He has given you. To expand your heart to receive even more of His overflow! Until you are running over with such an anointing of God’s blessings that others around you will be blessed too! Increase! Increase! Increase!
A TURNAROUND FOR YOU..
A word by Dana Jarvis
I decree you are making the spiritual journey from the bondage of Egypt into your promised land of destiny. I know you have grown weary. Do not let the murmurings and complaining attitudes rule you. It causes the faith to waiver! Your focus is upon the cup of bitter waters that you are currently drinking from.
Rest assured that your God is making these bitter waters sweet!
You shall taste and see that the Lord is good! You are going to see such extravagance in your daily life. He is delivering much into your hands so reach up and take hold. Just as he was with you before, he is with you now. You are going to drink deep of the Living Waters. The bitter waters of life have tried to steal all joy.
However I hear the Lord say, “It is done, I am the Lord who heals you. I am the Lord who will restore you. I am the Lord who will provide your every need. I am the One that is making the bitter waters sweet!”
I feel so strongly that God is removing your cup of bitter waters you have had to drink for so long. He is causing a turnaround for you in a situation that you desperately need him to move. I am speaking to several and know this word is for you. Even as the Lord led Moses and the children of Israel from their bondage at the Red Sea, it still took one step of faith. One step of faith is all it takes to cause a release from all of this. Take a moment and sow into good ground by giving into Spirit Fuel. For just a contribution of $25, $50, or even $100 or more given into Spirit Fuel is an active step and good ground on which to sow. It is a powerful ministry reaching the world for Christ. As you sow that offering, it is that act of faith that will cause the Red Sea where you are standing to part in your life. The bitter cup will be removed and the sweetness of the Lord shall begin to flow!
