I exhort you this day to hear and obey these instructions. While they are simple instructions, they are directives found in the Scriptures that are far too often being neglected amid the distractions and in the face of the various adversities that come along with living in a fallen, decaying world. We must be diligent in never losing sight of the heavenly reality that we are in this world, but not of it. Therefore, it behooves us to align ourselves with both the logos and rhema word of God. We cannot settle for just being hearers of His word but must become consistent doers as well.
In order to “Let. Set. Never forget., active participation is required. Live out the word, lest you deceive yourself into leaning into the default of the world rather than the design of Heaven. James 1:5 lets us know that “the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.” So again, I say, hear and obey these instructions to “Let. Set. Never Forget.”
I offer the following Scriptures to assist you in both the hearing and doing of this word:

“SET your mind and KEEP focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].” Colossians 3:2 AMP
NEVER FORGET WHAT HIS WORD DECLARES ABOUT YOU AND TO YOU
“And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, he will set you firmly in place and build you up.” 1 Peter 5:10 TPT
