“Like A Lion You Shall Be” – A Word by Colby Smith

I remember so vividly, it was November of 2018 as I sat in my car after a prayer session with the Lord, I heard a voice speak to me. This voice was the voice of many waters. It shook every fiber, every atom of my being, with just one sentence.

“Like A Lion You Shall Be”

What was spoken stunned me, and scared me not knowing what just happened or where it came from. I felt the Lord tell me it was time to release this into the body of Christ in this hour.

In these times, many have felt distraught, downed, hit from every which way like tidal waves, not being able to catch a breath of fresh air. I would like to encourage you in this hour that this is not the end for each of you, but a time of preparation. Preparation for what is to come, and what you are to carry to those all around you. As Jesus is the Lion and the Lamb, so you shall be also. A remnant that have laid it all at the feet of Jesus, allowing their lamps to be full of oil, shall rise up with the Roar of the Lion to the nations, against injustice, hate, wickedness and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”

Every mountain shall be brought low, every valley made flat. Where many have felt as they were drowning in warfare, the water shall cease and eyes shall begin to see the picture written on their lives as God reveals His plans and ways to His laid down lovers.

Where many have learned of the nature of the Lamb, the birthing of Lions are coming forth, like the world has not known. These ones have not been called by men, but by God. They have been trained by the voice of the Holy Spirit, tested and tried by the fires of affliction, ready for battle with the voice of their Father, the voice of many waters. Yes, I say, Like a Lion you shall be, you shall roar on behalf of my people, you shall speak truth into the darkness, and watch as light breaks forth into lives. So come forth Roaring Ones. I hear the Lord saying: Just as a Lion waits patiently to strike its target, you have been patient in the timing of my release. It’s time to strike.”

Many are being released in this hour into new territories that shall be taken for the Kingdom of God. A mantle of Kingship Authority is being released to those whom have waited and endured, and shall step through the door the Lord shall open. I hear the Lord say:

“Like a Lion you shall be.”

“The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open.”
