A decree is defined as an official order issued by a legal authority. Naturally speaking, a decision made by order of the court supersedes the desire or opinion of the defendant whether it’s a fine, a denial of driving privileges, or even a jail sentence. Job 22:28 instructs us saying, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” The Hebrew word for decree in this passage ( gazar ) is a command that not only establishes something, but also divides and cuts something down at the same time. The powerful promise for making a decree is the light of God will shine upon all our ways.  In other words, the decree cuts away and destroys anything from the kingdom of darkness that has been purposed against you.

When you make a DECREE, in the context of prayer, you go before the Lord and say your DECREE out loud. Not only will God hear and respond to your words, but your words, when they align to God’s word, put angels on assignment (Ps. 103:20).

I’ve written these DECREES for you and your family that come straight from the scriptures. As you say them out loud, you’ll feel an uplift of faith and sense our Heavenly Father’s agreement. Are you ready? Let’s say this together:

DECREES for “GREATER” for your life and your family

1. As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. (Josh 24:15)
2. I love God and I keep his commandments. Therefore the blessing of God is on my family for a 1000 generations. (Duet 7:9)
3. My sons and my daughters will prophesy! They shall dream dreams and have visions from the Lord. (Acts 2:17)
4. My family is growing in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52)

5. Every generational blessing will be revealed and stewarded in my family line. No blessing, gift, talent, or divine ability shall be lost.

6. I decree that every member of my family in this generation and in future generations will be saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and serving the Lord wholeheartedly.

7. I decree over the men in my family. They will serve the Lord. I decree over the women in my family. They will serve the Lord. I decree over every child, grandchild, great grandchild, and beyond. They will serve the Lord.

8. I decree the blessing of God to a 1000 generations on my family line.

With love,
The Praying Prophet
