Recently I was in worship and went into an encounter with Jesus, he asked me to tell his people that He loves them and that He will meet them face to face.
As I sat processing the encounter, I knew it was to encourage people and also stir their hunger for a face to face encounter with Jesus Christ.
Sometime ago I was at a worship event. It was in an unusual setting but it was real worship, singing unto the Lord and coming before him. For a moment, I looked round the room. Most people were standing up, in the secret place, lost in worship but others, sat on the outside of the room were shocked to see people worshipping with their hands up in the air and shocked that people were praying in Tongues. I looked into the middle of the room and I could see Jesus, walking through the crowds, stopping at each person lost in worship. Jesus was praying for them, laying his hand on them, they were encountering Jesus Christ. The people sat on the outside, were so bound by religion, they couldn’t see that Jesus was in the room.
Revelation 3 v 20 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
Did you know that you do not need to be dying or having an out of body experience to meet Jesus face to face?
Matthew 18 v 20 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
John 14 v 21 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
Hebrews 13 v 8 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
When I first got saved, it was through a supernatural miracle healing of debilitating neuro conditions. Consequently I had a lot of demonic activity going on around me that I didn’t even know existed. At the time, I only read the Bible and would not entertain any other book. Then one day, from my heart I cried out to Jesus to give me a book that would set the tone for the start of my spiritual walk. He lead me to a book by a lady named Jeanne Guyon. In the 1600’s she had an incredibly close relationship with Jesus Christ, a lifestyle of encounter. From then I have expected and pursued encounter with Jesus Christ. And you can too! Jesus has promised that he will. You need only surrender yourself wholly to him and make yourself available.
There are so many testimonies of people having powerful lifechanging encounters with Jesus and I am here today to tell YOU, YES YOU, YOU CAN HAVE AN ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS CHRIST.
Jesus is ready to meet you face to face……. Give him your worship and your time.
