I was awakened this morning to a vision of a crack opening in the heavens and blinding light coming from it. As the vision unfolded I was given understanding that beginning today Christmas and through December 31st that it would be a time of “Damascus Road” blinding and restoring lights. Acts 9 tells of Paul’s conversion experience through such a light. He was pretty much the Osama Bin Laden of the church and while on his way to Damascus a bright light from heaven descended on him that blinded him naturally for 3 days while immediately opening his spirit eyes to the reality of who the Lord was. In one moment the persecuted church received a reprieve and the great apostle Paul was seized on behalf of the kingdom of God. No one seemingly prayed it in, nothing else seemed catalytic to this experience other than the Lord saying “I have chosen him for an important assignment.” The terrorist became the chief apostle.
I saw that for these next 7 days there would be unusual miracles initiated sovereignly by God and His sudden light from heaven. Yes it is a general response to hopes and prayers and promises – but it is the dimension of heaven opening a crack and bypassing all normal resistance. Miracles of healing, miracles of injustice being stopped, miracles of unlikely promises fulfilled, miracles of restoration, miracles of strategic intervention are designed for us all across the earth these next 7 days. The same blinding light that stopped the terrorizer of the church also ignited him into strategic destiny. The light of these next 7 days is strategic. Those who encounter it will see that it is for a greater call than just themselves. What gets stemmed and what gets ignited will affect the nations. The Light of the world will exercise His right as Sovereign King. Carefully laid plans of the enemy will be brought to a screeching halt and latent plans of God will unveiled and ignited.
