Move Forward…From A Place Of Rest! – A Word by Alane Haynes

Recently, as I was seeking the Lord regarding new land He was leading my husband and I to take, I was taken into a vision with the Lord and heard Him saying to me these phrases: “I have been given all power and authority, and I am with you always – go forward!”

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Mat 28:18-20 KJV)

This is a familiar scripture, but the breath of God breathed new life into it as He spoke it to me. In Strong’s concordance, the word power includes authority. The power and authority given to Jesus is over the whole earth realm and the heavenly. Every demonic force of darkness cannot touch you as you remain in the reality of this truth, for Jesus has been given all power and authority, and He is in you! The Spirit of the LIVING God is in you and Jesus is with you always!

Jesus holds all power and authority over all that is created; He is above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come (Eph. 1:21). He has already overcome every situation you will find yourself in and He is with you! Step into faith in this truth and stay there. Repent from every ungodly mindset that keeps you in bondage, and to every foul lie of the enemy that you have allowed to bring distraction, doubt and discouragement, for the Kingdom of God is at hand; right here, right now.

We have entered a time of great harvest and we are to take the land that the enemy has held for too long. You have been delivered from darkness, bought with a price, for a purpose – the same purpose of Jesus – to destroy the works of the devil (1 Jn. 3:8). Begin with every spirit trying to pollute you with the foul stench of hell’s lies; then with that same overcming power, go forward and take the land where the devil has held others captive!

“And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.” (Deu 6:23 KJV)

In Hebrews Chapter 3, verses 7-12, the Apostle Paul admonishes us not to harden our hearts, as the Israelites did in the wilderness, on their journey to the promised land. They tempted God by doubting He was with them. In fact, Paul goes so far as to say it is an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God! He is alive, He is with you; believe and go forward!

“Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.” (Heb 3:12 KJV)

REST IN THE FINISHED WORK

The Lord has been emphasizing to me that we are being called to take new land from a place of resting in the finished work of Christ (John 17:4, 19:30) and in that position finding what He wants us to do in every moment. The rest comes from being fully surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit of the Living God to be in control.

It is finished; He has won the victory, He has overcome in every place that we are or will be tempted; in Him we will win every battle we face! Let the Overcoming One overcome everything in you that isn’t in line with Truth. Transition from the place of works to the place of rest; shift from the mind of the flesh to the mind of the Spirit of the Living God. Lay hold of faith in what Christ has already done, where we know that He is with us, always. Go forward in full confidence that what He has said He will surely do.

 “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left [us] of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it]. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” (Heb 3:19, 4:1-3 KJV)

The works were finished from the foundation of the world! You are an eternal being, chosen in Christ before the world was formed, and God has, before time, ordained works that we are to walk in.

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them… and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,” (Eph 1:4, 2:10; 2 Tim. 1:9 KJV)

Press in to the One who created you and receive revelation on the works you are to walk in. God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son (1 Jn. 5:11, 1 Tim. 1:17). Jesus is eternal life. Every eternal plan of God for your life is found in Christ, and the only way to move forward into the fullness of your destiny in Him is through that place of rest in Him, where you hear His voice saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.”

We are times of great trials and tribulation, but that means we will have great victory! The Overcoming One dwells in you; in Him we live and move and have our being. He cannot fail; stay in the place of rest in Him and you will prevail!

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world!” (John 16:33, KJV)

We are in a clash of kingdoms and it is time to render violence to every false mindset, every high thing, every lie of the devil, that keeps you from faith in the finished work of Christ, so that all that you do is from the place of rest – His finished work. In that place of rest we realize He is with us and we hear His voice giving us the meat that we need to carry us from assignment to assignment, moving in victory in Him and through Him!

“Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.” (Jhn 6:27 KJV)

”There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God [did] from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” (Heb 4:9-11 KJV)

You’re a new creature – ambassador of Christ for the Kingdom of God. You are chosen in Christ, called out of darkness and into His marvelous light, to take back what the enemy has stolen from you and from those that you encounter as the Spirit of the Living God sends you forth! It’s time to take the land; go forward in full confidence as the Spirit of God leads, for Christ has been given all power and authority and He is with you…always!

I heard by the Spirit of the Living God, “Move forward from the place of rest; in Me you will be fully blessed and I will bring you to My best. Stay focused on Me, in My love abide, for I am ever by your side and all you need I will provide. You do not need to understand; stay in faith and take the land. Place your trust fully in Me and My ways, for I am with you all your days.”
