New Depths of Trust! – A Word by Daniel Pontious
Trust is something that is often hard to come by especially in this generation. Trust requires that you take a risk everytime you give it to someone and because this generation has not exactly been very good at keeping their word when it’s given it even makes it more difficult to give.
In light of this issue many in the Body of Christ have found it difficult to believe that God is Trustworthy because of how abused it has been in their sight by people around them, but if we are ever to really come into a fullness of what God has called us into, deeper areas of Trust in the Lord is going to be critical.
Just because you have relationship with someone doesn’t necessarily mean that you Trust them. Trust involves a giving of a part of yourself to someone else and the belief that the other individual is not going to abuse it in the process and as it is kept, then deeper levels of Trust are constructed as a result.
“TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

This level of relationship is built over time and through a place of Intimacy with God Himself, for even though we often will say we trust Him with our lips, real Trust is Manifested in Our Actions.
When He asks us to do something by the Holy Spirit and we respond to Him positively and then go forth to do what He told us to do, no matter what it was, how impossible it looks, and the personal cost to us, is really where we reveal how much we Trust Him or not.
This Season is a Time for the constructing (or reconstructing) of Deeper areas of Trust between many of us and the Lord. I saw a Deep, Deep well in the Spirit last night and as I inquired the Lord about it, He said, “I’m calling many of those who are Mine into the Depths! Not the Depths of My Presence, Power and Anointing, but into Deeper places and Levels of Trust such as they have never been before. For it is in those Depths of Trust in Me where they will find Greater places of My Presence, My Power and My Anointing which they have been searching for! Dive into the Depths for He who seeks to save His life shall lose it, but the ones who lose themselves in Me will find their life in the process!”
It’s time to dive in Family! Stop tiptoeing around the deeper places in Jesus and take the risk! Dive down deeper, Trust in the Lord with all your Heart, He is totally Trustworthy in every situation! He is not a man that He should lie, if He told you something or gave you a promise He’s going to keep it! He has Prepared the Way through Jesus Christ, but whether you accept the invitation or not is up to you!
